The Aizawa fight was completely ruined by the city fire. I put my ps4 on the lowest graphic settings and it still looked like as if it were running on a potato circuitry. FPS was the lowest I had ever seen on my PS4. I had never seen a game run this low since my old computer tried to run Assassins Creed 1 back when I was thirteen years old. That was fifteen years ago.

Every boss has super armor, no combo potential, no juggling, no bounding, the trooper card system, the idiotic recasting (shibusawa as hanpeita), the bosses using magic, removing rhapsody of chivalry for town bully in the saigo and katsura fight, the giant enemies in long battles, and ishin (even og ishin) is just a mid game in general 💔 (play kenzan)

ugh the giant enemies, wtf were they thinking when making them?!?!? the bad combo potential is also there... you refreshed my memory of the gameplay, i dont know if im mad at the magic attacks, while they are op and often unavoidable(from enemy and player perspective) i think they were a good'ish addition to the game@@sonofjenova3798 super armor kinda exists in yakuza kiwami 1 so i can understand why it sucks

@@sonofjenova3798 Er I don't think it was UE fault. I think it's RGG fault for not change some code and ai to fit UE better. UE, If it was in right hand ,They can use it to make really good game. Such as Tales of Arise. That game was made with UE and still have fun of greatest combat ever out of whole Tales of games(Unless you never played it). Problem with Ishin Kiwami is that, They really don't change something to make Kiwami atleast more fun to play. They just like port asset directly and call it a day.

@@sonofjenova3798 i started disliking the game by the endgame, but i dont see how unreal engine affects the combat? i've never played the original, but im not sure how the combat would be affected by the switching of engine unless theres some game development stuff im missing here, it shouldnt be the engine's fault but the developer's faults

Combat sucks. Every boss has superarmor so combos are near impossible. The trooper card system is also lame, especially in a game set in the 1850s

I liked the movesets personally, but it is different from the other games so I get it. as for the bosses, yeah it really restricts your options a bit, but I think it's an interesting take in yakuza combat, reminds me a bit of souls games where it's all about timing your hits and blocks to chip at the boss.
