I have to say, I got a great laugh from what you wrote. But it's not too far off. At 1:00:20 a raja has his servants throw a wooden chest containing a monkey into the river. Before that in the same story, a king was tricked into putting his only daughter into an airtight chest and throwing it in the river. Maybe you heard chest, river, throw, etc. in your half awake state?
