This ARG reminds me of, among other things, the infamous 8800 Blue Kick Rd. house that became semi-popular in 2020. It was a seemingly-normal, small brick house in Louisville that had a much, MUCH bigger basement with all sorts of weird crap stuffed inside, turning it into a labyrinth that seemed to go on forever. People made a game of just trying to find certain things in it, it was THAT maze-like!

One of the other stories i saw involved a man studying water toxicity in the extension. An unknown element was discovered that caused DMT effects. There was a room filled with unusually shaped baths. One day he was overwhelmed with an urge to bathe. He filled a tub and bathed. He felt a powerful shift in his mind. Fast forward to the disngnosis, his third eye (pineal gland) opened and he could not stop the hallucinations. He resorted to using a drill to try to "blind" his third eye and stop the hallucinations. He failed and trapped himself conscious in a body in a vegetative state, and is unable to stop these hallucinations, or speak of it anymore

The level of madness that the victims went through is similar to Junji Ito's work. I can't help but to think that's where the inspirations comes from when it comes to the victims demise. I've read enough Junji ito's manga where it's familiar to me but I could be wrong. - Victims went to a haunted place - becomes insanely obsessed over something to the point of harming themselves - body horror

Holy fuck this story is exactly what my dreams have been like on repeat for the last few years, its been worse this year since I went through something traumatic. They are just like this, but instead of a house its a train station, school, a headquarters building like the one i used to work in, underground sewers and warehouses.
