This ARG reminds me of, among other things, the infamous 8800 Blue Kick Rd. house that became semi-popular in 2020. It was a seemingly-normal, small brick house in Louisville that had a much, MUCH bigger basement with all sorts of weird crap stuffed inside, turning it into a labyrinth that seemed to go on forever. People made a game of just trying to find certain things in it, it was THAT maze-like!

One of the other stories i saw involved a man studying water toxicity in the extension. An unknown element was discovered that caused DMT effects. There was a room filled with unusually shaped baths. One day he was overwhelmed with an urge to bathe. He filled a tub and bathed. He felt a powerful shift in his mind. Fast forward to the disngnosis, his third eye (pineal gland) opened and he could not stop the hallucinations. He resorted to using a drill to try to "blind" his third eye and stop the hallucinations. He failed and trapped himself conscious in a body in a vegetative state, and is unable to stop these hallucinations, or speak of it anymore

It sounds like an interesting series, as terrifying as some of the parts are I'm curious enough to continue watching. Sounds more like an unfiction though, it's a term going around for stuff is an ARG without the G cause it doesn't seem to need the audience's interactions & discovering hidden secrets/puzzles/riddles or something to move forward. Maybe we're not far enough in or haven't found something to make it an ARG but who knows.

I don’t like this series. The AI art was a big turn off for me. The story is somewhat cool, but I can’t stand AI art. Also I don’t understand why it’s considered an ANALOG horror. Is that because it takes place in the 80s??? Do people understand that the point of analog horror is to imitate analog television, which doesn’t work when it’s just slideshows of 80s-looking pictures. This concept would’ve been so good with a different execution, but the creator is too lazy to actually put any effort into it.

So, as an artist/graphic designer, here is my take, which many of my artist friends agree with: it's not that AI itself is genuinely bad per se. Many artists like myself believe it can actually be a powerful tool to help boost creativity and portray subjects in different ways that may not have been entirely possible by hand. The PROBLEM right now is that people are abusing these tools and using other people's artwork to mimic their style and generate soulless crap for a quick buck. Its considered cheating and art theft. Idk if you heard but as I am typing this comment, the pokemon trading card game had an art context and had to disqualify several entries because people were using AI vs. making the art work themselves. Now, in regards to Baddreams, the Thompson Extensions creator - he's a great example of how to utilize AI as a creative tool properly. He puts actual effort and his own work into his prompts and doesn't just crank them out. He makes his own edits to them, too, which is perfectly fine. So I have mad respect for the guy for actually properly using AI. If you are cranking out pictures based off other people's artwork for money, then Im sorry but your not an artist. There is no love, passion or creativity with it and thats the whole point of making art in the first place. I hope this helps a bit!
