"Even though being smaller puts you at a disadvantage in volleyball, it doesn’t make you completely helpless!” - Hoshiumi Korai As someone below 6 ft who has played volleyball and basketball for most of my life, Hoshiumi was such an inspiring character for me. You can still aspire to greatness, even if you're physically at a disadvantage from others. And who knows? Maybe that greatness feels that much more special given what you have to overcome. Thanks for the amazing content as always AJ.

I love how Hinata and Hoshiumi's stories are basically the same. Hoshiumi already knew how disadvantaged he was, and when we see him, he's already at the place that Hinata was building towards, in different ways. And he and Hinata are little giant bros.

You know it’s gonna be good when you read Alexzandxr and Haikyuu!! in the same sentence. It’s amazing how inspirational this manga is and you can just continue to find insane amount of things to say about this gem 💎

HOSHIUMI KORAI Definitely my favorite Haikyuu character I felt he was inspiring from his famous introduction scene but the Kamomedai vs Karasuno match made him one of my all time favorites.

No matter how limited the circumstances are, it is through our choices that will get through our dreams or away from them. The world isn’t fair because not everyone is given all the privileges, but it’s also fair that it has all the resources for us to make the most of them. It’s on how we properly put them in perspective and set in direction to be the better (if not best) versions of ourselves.

Hinata's depression arc about being too small to become a pro in S4 is my favorite part of Haikyuu. Great video!

It sucks the match with Karasuno is going to be in a movie instead of a anime where it can actually develop. Man this guy showed that the potential that Hinata had but was stunted due to not having anyone postive in his life for Volleyball nor his one track mind.

And this is why Hoshiumi is the Little Giant, not Hinata; Hinata is the Greatest Decoy. Btw, a real life role model is Sir Wardell Stephen Curry the Second. Go look him up.

i hated how the team coudnt get a win once hinata left the game, i was thinking that would be a good moment to show that they arent a one trick pony and for Hinata to see aswell that his team doent depend on him to win
@kingintox574311 ай бұрын
Just how sports work. Doesn’t have to do with being a one trick pony. When you’re up against a National-level team and lose one of your starters, the opposing team has all the skills and resources to run you over. Very easy to see in playoffs for any sports, as the top teams are similar level in skill but if there’s ever an injury an a star player, the opposing team wins almost all the time.
@ukiyoomi11 ай бұрын
as some who plays actual volleybal, starter players aren’t only chosen for individual skill but also about how harmoniously they work together. Having a single player out could be detrimental, because every player has a certain job on the court. When you lose a star player, the foundation of the defense or offense may crumble, especially if you’re playing a team that’s equally as good as your team
