This is punk. I have been going to punk gigs since 1977 and I recognise the vibe, the sound and the do-it-yourselves roughness that underlies The Linda Lindas, especially live. I saw them in London last year, and the last all female band that gave me the same buzz were Swiss punkettes KLEENEX back in 1979.
