His voice is almost similar to Grant Goodeve, the voice actor for Wolf O’Donnell, who is also an antagonist who plots overthrow power from Fox McCloud in the Star Fox franchise. 📺📺🦁🦁🦊🦊🐺🐺🔍🔍🚀🚀🪐🪐 Both Scar and Wolf O’Donnell almost have the same plot to gain power from that protagonist. 😨😨🙁🙁☹️☹️

Casting Jeremy Irons alongside James Earl Jones as brothers was *GENIUS.* They both have deep voices, but are still very distinct from one another. James had a strong, stern, commanding, and powerful voice. Whilst Jeremy’s is more slick, smooth, daunting, and cunning. The opening scene with Mufasa and Scar was pure perfection with both of them delivering the dialogue.

Jeremy Irons 💯% matches Scar’s character perfectly. Well done, Jeremy Irons. James Earl Jones did fantastically marvelous with his role as the caring, fun-loving and wise Mufasa. James Earl Jones did an amazing job. As much as I love the acting of Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jeremy Irons' voice is just another league. It’s like trying to replace James Earl Jones as Darth Vader with someone like Chris Tucker - brilliant in his own way, but it just wouldn’t bring the same commanding presence, no matter how hard he tries.

I am a big fan of Mr. Irons❤️He is sexy, gentle and sharp. He did a fantastic job as a scar and no one can replace him. His accent is breathtaking, too. Personally I lived in UK for 4 years long time ago and now I live in US marrying an American man. I felt in love with beauty of UK then and the British man was so attractive, so you can’t help falling in love with. I think British actors are the best👍

He does narrate a lot of Joubert documentaries, he did one too for lions - his voice is just amazing, documentary or animated movie, doesn't matter, I can listen him for hours :D Also the Joubert documentaries are sooooo amazing, giving a proper story for the animals they are documenting, pairing that with Irons classical acting and voice is just perfection.

Honestly, I love Wagner Moura as Death in Puss and Boots, but when he says “I love the smell of fear” I always think to Jeremy Irons voice performance as Scar when he says “I quiver with fear” since the guttural growl he adds to the line is so perfect. If Moura did that play Death I think Jeremy Irons would have been a great candidate.
