This Scar sounds like a true cold blooded psychopath faking emotions he doesn´t feel… I don´t get why 35 - 45 yrs old narrow minded childs complain about the remake and this version of Scar, he was even more evil and deceiver in this version. Respect to Irons, but his voice is already villanous, while this new Scar can come off as good guy while being a snake. This Scar is definitely the better villain.

A lot people couldn’t get pass the non facial expressions. But that why this movie deserves the live action title.. all the lions and hyenas etc look real. Giving them facial expressions defeats the purpose.. animal don’t show sadness happiness though facial expression(the only exception being anger) they show you though body language and sounds. For the most part it was done well enough for me at least.. so yes I enjoyed this movie..

@@callummoore2743 in the animated version: Zazu was next to the other lionesses, then zazu was imprisoned and turned into Scar's pet and Scar threatened Zazu with eating it if he said the name "Mufasa" again. but in the live action version: zazu is next to Rafiki in a tree and the two watched as Scar took the throne, which Zazu does not become the prisoner of Scar and Zazu is free but Zazu is prohibited from entering the The king's rock, Zazu helps distract the hyenas so Nala can ask for help and Zazu helps in the battle facing Ed, Zazu is almost eaten by the hyenas but Rafiki comes rescues and saves Zazu from the hyenas.

Why does Scar make a big thing about how he never made it to the gorge in time, when he could just as easily have said that he did make it on time, but there was nothing that he could do to save them (Which there really wasn't, Mufasa jumping up to the cliff was a bit of a fluke. Remember the stampede was fully intended to kill them both) This excuse is even weirder given the fact that Zazu is still around and KNOWS Scar made it to the gorge in time, and presumably would still be accepted by the pride as an important member. Even if Zazu isn't present for Scar's coronation, why does Sarabi not inform him later for Zazu to then challenge Scar's excuse? Isn't Scar's policy of having the hyenas attempt to kill Zazu on sight later in the movie highly highly suspicious in this regard?
