Didn't like how young Nala was afraid of exploring the Elephant Graveyard on this version compared to the original where it was Zazu frightened and Nala being as curious as Simba was about exploring the Elephant Graveyard. I did liked how Shenzi was basically the leader of the hyenas compared to her comical side on the original, and Nala as an adult close to the end of this version of the movie standing up to Shenzi made up for her cowardice on this part, especially since it did show that she was no longer the cub she was.

Youre staring at a full grown 420 pound lion and think "Hey is it reeeeeeeaally a good idea to go head on with this??" because a lions paw swipe can break jaws and youll just be thinking about your life and seeing if its really worth attacking a male lion. Yes a whole entire pack of hyenas can kill one but they are all thinking the same thing so all are uneasy with the idea of going head on as each one does not want to get killed or hurt in anyway. In the original they were at least in a dead end with a ribcage over them, so it was both impossinle for them to run amd for the hyenas to get them unless they triggered the cubs to try and run past them. It's more of a "whoop". Each hyena's whoop is unique to them, like a fingerprint. Clan members can put a face to a whoop of one of their own.

Ähm one little logic question: Hayinas are eval and want to kill simba, provoce war and have no fear of consequences. Why are they not killing mufassa in that scene, he is alone, in the end of movie they are able to kill scar. So why stoping and saying sorry when he arrives? 1 vs 100 would be easy for them -> plot logic :)

@@jonasmeyerbUild... Scar is weak, malnourished lion and he was injured after the fight with Simba. Actually the scene is quite similar to real life. There are plenty of videos on KZbin showing Hyenas running from a solo male lion.

Personally in this scene I was with hyenas. I love shenzi and her new role as a leader. To be honest I really didn't care for simba in this movie...he was very unlikable. Spoiled brat.
