I was 19 playing in NZ at this time, no one would believe me this was how the game was played then. Thank you for the memories that I can still feel to this day!

I used to play in the 70's and 80's a lot harder game then

I was same age playing in Oz. I had to buy my mates in the back row the first round I'd there weren't enough stripes on my back. Every Aussie I knew was backing The Lions in this series 😅

It's hard to believe we're watching the same game today.

Joking aside, I played at low level from 88 to 2010 and the game was much better in the 2000's than it was before and is now. The way it's going now it'll be a game for fannies within a few years.

Holy freaking schmidtt, that rucking had some massive commitment attached to it.

Penalty for "Stamping after the whistle" coz of course had it been before the whistle that would have been fine.

Notice? When the NZ players get dose of their own stamping at the ruck? They don’t seem to like it
@WaferBrik4 ай бұрын
The Brits didn't enjoy it much when they got a dose of their own stamping either. There's nothing very enjoyable about it, ever.

@@steveoldfield2607 perhaps, but you don’t know the background of what may have prompted him to do it.
@steveoldfield260711 ай бұрын
@@edwardstroud8245 It doesn’t matter what prompted it , it just sums up the attitude of that particular player or team if it was the other way round it would be considered racist back then and even more so in today’s current climate of Woke agendas etc . I remember watching it at the time and thought it was disgusting ! But obviously that’s just my opinion each to their own !
@edwardstroud824511 ай бұрын
@@steveoldfield2607 I agree about the bs work climate we live in today. But he may have been reciprocating something a lions player did to him. If that were the case it would be fully justified in my opinion. But hey ho. Cheers
