If you are in Lisbon and looking for accomodation check out Happy Reception. It is a very convenient because you get a code to the door so you can check-in whenever you want. Early in the morning or late an night. What is more Happy Reception's rooms are in the center of the city.

Nice! What an adventure!! When I've been to Lisbon I stayed in Happy Reception. Hostels have few localisation in Lisbon and it is suuuuper cool! I will definitely come back to Lisbon and I will stay in Happy Reception again!! I literally in love with pasteis! :D

I'm Portuguese born in Lisbon so like you said we don't have eifeel tower or statue of liberty BUT the town has its icons from TORRE de Belém o Padrão dos Descobrimentos etc etc etc... At Almada city on the other side of the amazing bridge 25th April or Salazar Bridge you have the Cristo Rei 🌉💕💕💕 btw the amazing Queluz or Sintra are not Lisbon they are other towns!

You missed out the Mosteiro De São Vicente De Fora containing the lovely church and eerie silent Braganza Pantheon. And the Church of Santa Engrácia Panteão Nacional both architectural gems and both providing splendid views of Alfama and Santa Apolònia respectively..... Take a bus tour too! A Superb city to visit... I'm going back...

Like your videos. Any advice for a solo traveller going to Lisbon? How long will it take to cover your 10 must do in Lisbon? I have only 2 to 3 days to spend there. Any advice for a cheap place to stay? I am a rookie when it comes to traveling and I need your help. Have you been to Barcelona and Madrid? Visiting these 3 places too next month.

3 days will be fine. Depends on how fast you walk and how many photos you take. But if you want to visit Sintra it will be too little. Don't remember the name of the hotel I stayed at. @@desmonda9061 I went in October and always book more than 6 months in advance so I get cheaper rates. I'm sure you'll find cheaper hotels. At that time I still traveled with a friend. So we could split the cost.

By that I mean that these monuments aren't world famous like the Eiffel tower. When you ask people who have never been there to name a Lisbon monument they mostly don't come up with anything. While everyone knows the Eiffel tower even if they haven't been to Paris yet.

Lisboa is one of my favourite European cities as it is NOT a huge tourist destination like Roma, Paris, London etc... However pickpockets abound and while most pickpockets are not "Portuguese", many come from their former colonies, Mozambique, Angola and so on...
