Sadly they do not make Christmas films or even commercials like these anymore. Just recently M&S, a British company launched a commercial that didn’t have family, children, giving joy to others, nor blessings or glory to God. It was just a diverse of urban people being glutton and excessive drinking and partying. They even burn the paper crowns that supposed to symbolize the Three Wise Men but apologize because they might offend pro-Palestine supporters. They were more afraid of offending political sides than offending Christianity
@scottmcphee2076 Жыл бұрын
This is sad. Conservative / 'right wing' commentators will often say that Western culture is rooted in Judeo Christian values. Corporates like the large retailers will not mention the religious aspects of Christmas. They say that it is for fear of offending non- Christians. At the same time they will encourage customers to donate to charities like The Salvation Army. It shows how the culture has shifted.

At first, I thought Aaron was just being hilarious to himself when he said he hates people like I didn’t understand what that supposed to mean to him like I thought that’s just one way to say I hate bandits and thugs like you . But truthfully, I do despise humanity, but that doesn’t mean I want them all to be extinct until nothing is left but plants and animals. I just don’t trust media writers owners that much. Because all they done was break promises for the future for others that didn’t get what they desire. Such as rare fan favorites, and original protagonist. 1 like I don’t trust the people who own Disney making too many princesses for girls which is over over rated and over manipulated and I’m the only one who still cares about Disney Heroes of men that are more valuable than marvel and Star Wars . and they are wasting resources just for nothing 2 I’m just tired watching the same Looney Tunes act with. There are no major leading females to be cooperated because I’m more interested in seeing bugs and Lola together for instead of treating her like she made for gambling through sporting events, which I didn’t have in mind.

I got to give credit to writer Romeo Muller for his excellent take on popular Christmas songs and transforming them into filmic stories like: how Rudolph was picked on and bullied because of his red nose. Then, Santa gives him an opportunity to lead his sleigh as the big snow storm almost ruined Christmas but not with Rudolph’s nose. Then with Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town, how Kris Kringle became the Claus, climbing down chimneys, becoming like the Robin Hood-like rogue, because of the Burgomeister’s silly nonsensical law that toys are outlawed and anyone plays with a toy is under arrest and put to the dungeon and so forth. Then, with Frosty the Snowman, how he built Frosty’s magical transformation from one magician’s hat, who the magician is one incompetent, bumbling magician who will stop at nothing to get his hat back. But Santa Claus convinced him otherwise. Then, with his take on Drummer Boy, making it both a parable and a fable Bible story… We know the story of the birth of baby Jesus and how he laid under the manger above the star of Bethlehem and three wiseman and the shepherds all come to seek his elaborate birth. That’s the true parable. Now, the fable is placing a Little Drummer Boy who lost his home and his parents after a strong tragic thing happened that caused Aaron’s hatred towards people (which some of us can relate too today) the way that Muller detailed the story was so palpable and it changed the main character’s hatred back to love after the sight of the baby Jesus was beholden back to him. I can see why this was Muller’s favorite Christmas specials he’d ever worked on and the way he described the birth of baby Jesus in a manger and had a fabled character gaze at the parable future savior, makes it one of the most greatest stories ever told. That’s the late Romeo Muller and I wish there were more writers who can look at Romeo Muller’s greatest talent of writing and tell their stories based on his historical legacy he brought to the Rankin/Bass specials.

@floralma79 Жыл бұрын
Is that story real?
@sandybeach7487 Жыл бұрын
@floralma You asked if this story is real. If you read The Book of Matthew in the Bible and start reading chapter 2, you will find out that King Herod wanted to kill Jesus because he had heard the prophecy of a Messiah coming and he thought that he would become King and replace him. He sent out the Maggi or astrologers to look for him. He did not tell them that he wanted to harm Jesus. Then the star appeared so they could find Jesus. In Matthew 2:12, the astrologers were warned, so they didn't return to King Herod. King Herod saw that he was outwitted by the astrologers, so he flew into a great rage and had all the boys two years old and under killed because Jesus would have been two by then. But as we know from history, he did not find Jesus.
