Heck, no! "Pathoms Below" should've been BEFORE "Part Of Your World," not after. Ariel was supposed to be half naked after her first transformation, not COMPLETELY naked! Disney made her dumb in this movie by "not remembering" and eating anything that's not food. The Animal Characters looked Way TOO REALISTIC! AND THE MOVIE WAS WAAAAAAAAAY TOO LONG, LIKE "ALMOST 5 HOURS!"!

Your edit of what the live-action Melody would look like was definitely the way I imagined it. It didn't matter what type of person played Ariel. I mean, she was originally going to be a blonde, but then she got made into a redhead instead. So the live-action Ariel could have been just as good as the original animated one whether she was played by a blonde or a redhead or a person-of-color.

For me it does tops the animation. Everything makes more sense to me on the Live version. I like the animated too, but the Ariel and Eric's romance is stronger for me. And I also like that fact they didn't marry at the end like on the animated. I mean how realistic it is to meet a guy (being 16) and marrying him after 3 days. Very unrealistic. But is it a cartoon.

The Little Mermaid(2023) was so good. Here are my thoughts Starting off with the performances. Melissa McCarthy killed it as Ursula. She is truly born for this moment. If I’m being real, I hated the original 1989 film, and I’ll tell you why in a couple of seconds. Jonah Hauer-King’s song was so good. It wasn’t my favourite part though, as I will also tell you my favourite parts after. After comparing the remake to the original, we can all agree the live action one was better, as it had more meaning. In the original version, Eric just stands there shocked when she turns back into a mermaid. However, in the remake, Eric(Jonah Hauer-King) holds Ariel(Halle Bailey) closely. Now, these are my favourite parts from the film. 1. When Ariel(Halle Bailey) was riding on an octopus in the “Under the Sea” music video 2. When Ariel(Halle Bailey)comes out of the cave slide to see all the creatures dancing 3. The “Part of Your World” reprise For the “Part of Your World” reprise scene, I was actually impressed as Ariel(Halle Bailey) sang it high, while Ariel(Jodi Benson) sang low. I feel that it’s so disrespectful. Also, love the CGI tentacles for Ursula(Melissa McCarthy). I was in love with it because of all the scenes where she shows them off(or smt like that). I feel that Halle Bailey was born to be Ariel. Also, I would love to see Tangled(2010) but as a remake. Here’s my overall fan cast 1. Anne Hathaway(Queen Ariana) 2. Ana Sophia Robb (Rapunzel) 3. Ian Boggs (Eugene) 4. Kathryn Hahn(Mother Gothel) 5. James and Oliver Phelps(Stabbington Brothers) I will edit this comment if I have any ideas on the rest of the characters
