Great reaction. I love the trailer, and I am looking forward to the movie. There is more than one new song, so though I believe that they are doing a pretty spot-on adaptation, there is obviously going to be some new stuff as well to go with the new music. Rob Marshall also straight up said that they added more to the story, but it probably won’t deviate too far from the original I’m thinking!

It does sound like it would be good. The problem is when you're doing a remake. You could be very problematic for example when I watched The Jungle Book remake. It was a very good in my opinion. Then I watched the lion king remake and well. They pretty much follow the movie exactly script the script. That's that what if you're tweaking here and there I think that. That's the problem when you're trying to remake something you oh You got fans that will judge you because you're trying to bring back a classic in a style that many women. Will understand so. You're gonna be criticized? I either way like the lion king remake Was well am I overall opinion not that good cause of what I said while The Jungle Book? It took new liberties And brought it into the modern age with style Disney. They're just gonna squeeze money out of this as much as possible so I probably won't go but I know other people will and I eventually see. It later.

I know that won't happen, but one thing I would love to get in this real-life version was some elements from the original story. It would be a great way to keep the story of the animated version but at the same time making it unique. Here's an idea: Vanessa could be an actual girl who also loves the prince (perhaps a maiden) and Ursula could manipulate her, giving her a make-over to look like Ariel and the latter's voice so Eric can believe she is the one who saved him. Vanessa could then have change of heart after realizing how much Ariel loved Eric and how it's wrong to force another to love someone they don't really love (similar to what happened in "Cinderella III" when Anastasia revealed who she really was. As punish for betraying her, Ursula could turn Vanessa intro foam, before the climax. Vanessa would then turn into a daughter of the air (similar to what happened to the Little Mermaid in the original story).

Not for me. As a general rule, real life version of animated features don't really work. There are exceptions but this looks dire, to say the least.
