Sometimes we fail to realize that while yes, Singapore still has its imperfections, we still have it good compared to other countries in the world. These moments just show who we are as singaporeans and how capable we are to make our country great. Let us all work together for a better Singapore in the future.

These are one of the many reasons why this is among the best ndp celebrations, in spite of bloopers and fatal accidents and I may even consider this as the best ndp celebration out of all the others. 2022 has been a wild year, especially during the Ukraine war and new diseases and viruses arriving at their door step. Despite all the carnage and chaos around the world, it is still a breathtaking and exceptional experience throughout the year. What a phenomenal year…

My wish for Singapore is that we can become a beacon of light and humanity, in a world full of corruption, greed, and selfishness. A society where integrity, honesty, humility, kindness, fairness, equality, inclusiveness, and hard work are valued. Majulah Singapura!

Positive thoughts and prayers for the WO, great to see Mr Lawrence Wong and the acknowledgment, and I’m especially touched when I saw Mr Azuan Tan’s outpouring of emotions. That arrangement of the anthem was superb, and of course, there could be tons of reasons to his display of emotions, but it was indeed an iconic moment.

Reminds us all of one old samsui woman who participated and featured prominently in one past NDP whom the media portrayed as staunchly asserting she never regretted staying in Singapore. Few years down the road in her late 90s and when times began to get harder, not wanting to burden her children who were also facing hardship and all of them not getting any social help in that no welfare is good public policy era, she climbed all the way up, despite her physical disability to the top of her HDB block.

SAF should design some kind of landing protection gadget like the air bag in the car or some king of spring shoe that can help in soft landing. When in emergency, can reduce the hard landing force.
