It's really nice to see stuff frozen in time and not vandalized by the younger generation I really hope it stays that way for another hundred years 😎👍

My home of last 10 years❤ I never got to actually see the Aster mine. They were still mining it less than 15 years ago. There's gold all over those hills still. Randsburg was an amazing place to live. When my mother was still alive, I loved it more. She had gardens and chickens and she ran her property more like a homestead. Too bad her husband didn't appreciate that. He tore it all down when she passed and remarried. No comment. I left. It wasn't beautiful anymore after my mom died😢❤ Thanks for the tour!

All windows are squeaky clean. New flags. Nice that certain people are preserving it

The next time you head up, hit me up. We are on the corner of Butte and Lexington. I can open the Randsburg Community Museum.

I lived there for 13 years working at Rand Mining (1990 - 2003). Great place to escape the outside world.

I took a road trip there in the late 60's. There was a large stamp mill still standing. Went back a year later and found someone had burned it down.

I think the white car is about a 162-3 Mercury Comet. It has the shock (suspension) towers like all Fords of that period. Thanks for another great video!

At 1:30, that model of Yamaha was my first motorcycle in 1965. Corvairs had engines in the rear, so the car at 3:04 isn't one,

You think they would put some kind of grate over those mines. 🤔

Thanks for these awesome trips! And you should have something like a air gun with a grappling hook tied with a 100' of rope in your backpack, like Batman, if you ever fall in these crazy deep shafts !!

you know why some headstones are fenced in ? it was common to let cows graze in them . and we all know what cows leave behind.. so if you don’t want cow poop on your loved ones stone . they fenced them off …
