Marine scientist here, black mangroves actually show exponential growth in saltwater. And Red Mangroves, the ones that are kept in the hobby, can grow perfectly well in saltwater as long as they are acclimated.
@SunnyTobi882 жыл бұрын
Yeah they do grow fine. It's just about how fast they grow I experienced that myself that the growth is faster in brackish water at least for the red mangrove.

You use our Miracle Mud in your refugium? If enough surface area as it is a denitrater filter you can cut off your skimmer to only run about 6 hours per day so to retain phytoplankton to grow more zooplankton. Question email me. Thanks Leng

The tank is absolutely fantastic! I love the combination of coral and macro algae. And the mangroves, gorgeous! But, aren't there any problems with the nutritional values? Do the algae need fertilizer and how do the SPS and LPS respond? Thanks for the video guys and this great aquarium! 😍👍👍
@yurei44142 жыл бұрын
Macroalgaes and Corals can live togheter, also they do need fertilizers, wich are mostly made of Nitrates and Magnesium, so Corals shouldn't be too bothered by it if dosed.
