I'm a woman who watches Regal Gentleman because of Dan. He's patient, considering his client's needs, and has great skills that extend beyond mechanical. Never underestimate communication. Stay humble, it's endearing. Nothing is worse than someone who's gathered fame and acts like a peacock!

I only became aware of Dan just recently when a video popped up, and i quickly became kinda addicted as hes such a great barber and such a lovely down to earth man. Really pleased this video popped up just now, and have loved hearing you both chat together. So pleased you got him to do this ❤😊

I recently found Dan's channel and I'm blown away watching what he does to people's hair. I could watch him for hours cutting and styling hair. What he does with scissors is an art and what he does with his right hand with is amazing. Plus, he's so handsome!

He is a beautiful man 😉 His hair looks incredible... the gray is just gorgeous. But, funny thing is, when I watch him work, I don't really focus on his looks because I'm so enthralled with his skill and artistry.

A hair dresser saved me from a deep sad funk fourteen years ago... He gave me hope. I went with it. Thank g#d. I hated the way I looked, I had taken to buzzing my hair, feeling really high about it for three days or so, and then really depressed as I realized it just didn't suit me. I was hung up about hairloss, transplants, looking sh#t and I never could imagine, that I could be proud of the way i looked. One thing led to another, and I really improved.

I love watching Dan's videos. He said something very crucial in the podcast that makes him stand out above the rest (or anyone, in any field). He says, "I really, really cared about the job." When someone truly cares, and is passionate about what they're doing, you can see it and how it comes across to the client. No matter what profession it is.

11:58 Yep 100%. I was in recovery for PTSD and suicidal depression and my barbers were basically my lifeline throughout the whole thing without realising. I would not have made it through the process without them

He's the best barber I've ever seen or watched. I love how he describes what he's going to do as he does it. Also, he listens to what his clients wants but he is honest if he thinks it's not what they need or won't work with their face shape or hair texture. Love you Dan. ❤️

A lovely lady shaved my head the day after my birthday which coincided as the night/morning after having a wonderful night with my family, I retired to bed and during normal bedtime routine I ran my hand through my hair and that’s when I broke down, as clumps of hair came out. She asked if I wanted a coffee, I said no at first. Then she told me she’d start from the back sos not to scare me, after a few sweeps with the tool to give me a buzz cut, I stopped her and asked for the coffee. I’d just had my second chemo, the hairdresser was so very conscious of me that at the time I didn’t really realize it. Nearly 20yrs later I still remember her, thank you. He’s so down to earth, so happy for his success x

I found Dan’s channel during Lockdown and it amazed how brilliantly he transformed people. Amazing to listen to his life between the scissors or clippers. What a wonderful way he talks about school days through to his career as, to my mind, a fantastic Barber! Excellent Dan and huge applause on all you’ve done, you speak so naturally without stopping! During COVID I started cutting my own hair-usually a buzz or shaved. ( I’m really bald except the fringe on the side). I got really tired of that look and prefer the short hair or bald look much more. It was a real eye-opener and it gave me a much deeper appreciation of your calling. I started growing my beard fall and it’s grown in quite well. I do see a barber now, especially for the beard. I’ve had too many “accidents” on my own. I do appreciate your videos!

Really enjoyed this. Dan touched on so many deep things here, like the continual failing of the education system, single minded managers and over thinking things. I think everyone at some stage should talk about their life.

Just come across dan. He's first class barber. Best ive ever seen. A Scoucer taking over the yuppies in london. Fair play. Young lad leaving liverpool straight into the yuppies. Dan wasnt there to take part he was there and he took over. Seems sound fella. 🇮🇪

Such a nice calm chat between two lovely down to earth men. It’s like two friends being honest with each other and open about their lives aswell their insecurities.looking forward to the second part (I’m a 48 yr old female)very inspiring I’m a single Mum have a son 17& daughter 13.Inspirational for young kids too where they are under so much unnecessary pressure at school to get good grades in GCSE🎉

What dan is explaining at 18:40 is called impostor syndrome. It's quite common, to some degree. It's a good quality to have, in my opinion....edit: ok, the host just explained that it's impostor syndrome, too funny.
