Mohiner Ghoraguli was the first rock bank of India dating back to the 1970s. They sang Bengali songs but unfortunately recording was so popular back then. People who listened to them came together with them some 20yrs later and sang some songs with them. Album "Aabar Bochhor Kudi pore. and writing halfway I realized maybe you are also Bengali! the pointed I wanted to make is the Hollywood bands of that time are more popular in India but not our own.
