I visit British train shows vicariously through KZbin videos while I have my morning coffee here in Canada. Thanks for posting, really like the pan shots of the hall as it gives a sense of “being there”.👏👏👏

Very nice summary. I went a few years ago, but it was so packed I struggled to get round the place. Never returned. This is a lovely way to enjoy some highlights of the show without the crush 👍

Some spectacular models and hats off to them being able to transport and set them up and work so reliably, particularly James Street; great engineering and modelling! Thanks for posting as would never get to see. Best regards Stephen (Canada)

If I'd known someone was going to produce such a well-made video, I could have spared my poor little legs and feet ... That concrete floor is a real killer!

Greetings from Canada! I've been there several times and the layouts I've seen have blown me away especially the N scale one called (as I recall) Copenhagen Fields. That one was a work of art! I have a pretty decent N scale German layout but it's rubbish compared to what I have seen at this show. But having said that, a lot of these layouts look underpopulated. No one on the streets or platforms or in the yards. People add a lot more realism; I must have more than 500 figures on my layout, doing various things like working at the sheds, walking in the streets, waiting on the stations and drinking in the beer gardens ( there are five.) Another thing is road vehicles. At A.P. I saw a freight yard set in 1954. All was well but on the road bridge over the yard was a modern black cab and other cars and trucks from a later era. No credibilty there. Everything should be of the same era or there is no credibilty and a layout must be credible to be realistic. My layout is set in about 1968 and there are split window Volkswagens but there are no Volkswagen Golfs. Other wise it's just a bunch of toy trains and not a model railway.
