From what I understand wolves will only go for dropped meat if it was dropped with the decoy key. I know massive pile of rabbit meat outside my main base at Jackrabbit Island hasn't had any wolf problems. However, there isn't much need to keep the ruined fish outside because it can't loose any more condition than it already has.

Thank you for answering that! Very true that the fish doesn't rly need to be outside since it is ruined already 😅 probably should of thought of that, haha.
