I’ve started using the harvest-cancel technique and it works like a DREAM. And since I’m in stalker, by the time I hit level 5, I’ll have all the wolf and bear meat sitting around. And will have food for months! I subscribed.

Currently playing on Pilgrim to gain feats and better map knowledge. Really enjoying the insightful videos coming from the fearless leader himself. A lot of these tips are stuff that are not necessarily immediately intuitive to someone who has no clue how this game works, so thanks man.

Thanks alot dude! This strategy got me thinking and yes i managed to bag a moose in milton basin. I quartered it and lugged it (bedroll rest area in cave btwn rope climbs) all the way back to paradise farm house, and used the sliver harvest technique. I cooked it on that 6 burner stove the farmhouse has plus +2 pots. Im playing a custom game and have cabin fever turned off (the concept baffles me) also made reishi and ol'beard tea since spawns nearby. Was almost thru lvl 3 cooking but that last push helped get me to master 5.

Don't worry. Play long enough, you will die and likely need to start over. I really believe I made it this far in Crusade only because I play VERY conservative.

@@CmdrTom it’s been about 817 days on stalker and it’s going pretty good. I was able to re-supply on all of my gear with the new update in black rock.

And THAT is EXACTLY why I love the way new maps roll out and connect to the old. Great for veteran players. Big IF, but IF, I survive Crusade, I'll just keep the save and start a new season for every map

Came across your content really enjoy it a lot of informative stuff outside the box thinking Is there any video of you implementing basically everything you're teaching with a snow shelter I'm not seeing anything with the benefit of a snow shelter it seems like a good idea or something to use but I don't know what to be mindful of I only got about 28 days under my belt I'm starting the stock up got a lot of moose and two types of bear meat at coastal highway thank you for the information I didn't know too much wolf or bear meat is not a good thing thank you. As for magically adding more calories to a dish; there's a third way. You cook in a way that lets your body absorb more out of the food. Cooking is a part of digestion, it breaks down complex fats and proteins into easier ones that our body knows what to do with. If your body spends less energy digesting it, then the food will give you more calories.

Only that the pot trims time to cook something. No affects on points otherwise

Very good guide, but you have one mistake. 5 level Cooking needs 350 points, not 300. You must cook 200 pieces of meat from 4 level to 5.
