Oh, it was so nice to see your reaction to this old song! I was really obsessed with this song when I first heard it, well, ages ago! POF also has loads of other great songs too. So underrated band, unfortunately. Thank you for this reaction! Love from Finland!❤

This was their first ever song as a band. This was back when they only had 2, maybe even 3 members. Captain (the keyboard player) was working for Remedy (the game makers) at the time, and worked with Marko and Olli to produce Late Goodbye.

The way this song got created was very interesting. Sam Lake had written a poem years before they had even started making Max Payne 1. Then when it came time to write the story for Max Payne 2 he felt that the poem he wrote all those years ago would fit perfectly thematically but he couldn't find a way how to naturally integrate it to the game so he asked Marko is ye could turn it into a song and the rest is history. Now 20 years later from Max Payne 2 Remedy and PotF are still working together and I CAN'T WAIT to see what kind of songs Alan Wake 2 will have from PotF. Thank you for another wonderful reaction and have a wonderful weekend!
