A huge boost to the success of this movie series was from the music written by Lalo Schifrin. Perfect match

I really like how they not only used actors from the Dirty Harry movies, but also writers, who would have a great part in defining how the character was. Very nice documentary.

.357!? It's a 44 Magnum.

Yeah, they are just talking about how important a character the Magnum is.... and they say its a .357! It's absurd: the whole point is that while the other cops' guns are .357, Harry's is the much bigger caliber .44... How could they mistake it? :|

I love these movies but, it was one handed shooting because it was light load .44 special ammo. The early S&W 29 wouldn’t handle the real hot mag loads. Useless trivia ( however very true) to impress or annoy your friends.

i can't believe the makers of this didn't stop filming for both Michael Madsen and the other guy when they said 357 magnum. That's almost blasphemy

"he wasn't the first...but was the godfather of the genre"! So who was the first?

Oh c'mon Steven! ".357?" And it's NOT "Do *you* feel lucky!" It doesn't make any sense that way, you MISQUOTER! Sorry... I'm a douche.
