Dr.Chef and Corbin are my favourit characters. I love both of them and i really connect with Corbin, which may be a bit weird, he's not the one you're supposed to relate with, i guess, but i really liked him and wish there'd been more from his perspective.

I love your enthusiasm for the book! I also loved it, it's just SO POSITIVE (though OMG that heartbreaking thing near the end). And it's amazing how riveting and engrossing the book is, even though Becky Chambers consistently seems to find the least action-packed way to resolve things. I can't imagine anyone else writing that encounter with the space pirates in the same way for instance. It really is a great book. (I read the self-published version and was really surprised by the Hodderscape cover. It's very pretty but doesn't seem to capture the feel of the book at all)

Getting tired of waiting for this edition to come out here. None of the stores are carrying it and it's driving me crazy. A few people are buddy reading so I'm going to give in and get the ebook.
