sometime visit Taganskaya subway station, there are 2 escalators, and Marksistskaya (that have underground way to Taganskaya) that also have very long escalator.

Мой прадед был инженером учавствовавшим в строительстве метро Москвы, обычный бурятский сельский парень из глубинки в советское время получил бесплатно высшее образование в 20-е годы в период когда только прошла Гражданская война, когда страна еще только только начала оправляться. Уже тогда развивали инфраструктуру и обучали население.

На счет 70 км есть сомнения. Скорее всего длина 57-58 км. Можете замерить сами на любой карте - квадрат с периметром 70 км вмещает в себя БКЛ полностью, что вызывает вопросы.

Remarkable how the western msm narrative and the realities of life are so divergent! Russia is building new, efficient, clean, and beautiful subway lines, while in America we cannot maintain our old rail lines which leads to train derailments. Russia's subways look clean and are beautiful, while here the subways are dirty, not maintained, and the scene of horrific violence. I am happy the Russian people are able to preserve their nation and look to their future. Hopefully the native birthrate will increase and their prosperity will grow. Hi Russ, Thank you. Fantastic quiet amazing, longest escalator in Australia is 45 mtrs so wow at 130mtrs that's a long way down. You might have started something, like people that ride on roller-coasters, all over the world, you could ride escalators. Great posts PS Love looking at snow, Perth never gets snow like that.

I'm from Moscow and I have visited this station just after its official opening. The escalator is really long due to the depth of the station. People having fear of height please avoid visiting this station, or just take a look at the main hall, but don't go up or down the escalator! P.S. Парк реконструировали так, что на Масленицу полгорода гулять пришло))) И пляжную зону ещё должны доделать к лету🤗 Туалетные комнаты со стеклянными дверями в лесу с унитазами, раковиной с водопроводом и горячей водой - я такое давно в парках не видела))) У нас теперь есть! 👍

@@bigsitter1179 ,не только на старость,но и вообще:при ритме жизни -работа-дом-работа-мотаться через весь город-в этом превилегия метро-неоспорима.Тем более так сократили время в пути!Да еще разгружают город от машин и пробок,а значит чище воздух!И люди меньше устают. По поводу дешивизны жилья на окраинах- не так уж и дешево,с учетом того,что нужен ремонт,мебель,быт.техника.И маяться в ожидании жилья,а потом ездить ,пристраивать детей в сады,школы, кружки,секции,те же поликлиники.Пусть это все супер красиво,но ну его нафик.Кобыла она и есть кобыла.

Really enjoying your channel mate. So interesting to watch. The one thing that stands out in Russia that I've seen, is the sheer size of russian architecture. They seem fascinated by it. A representation of their country maybe? And how do the people treat you? Friendly? Cautious? Hostile? I've met several russian people here in England ,and they always seem hesitant when I offer my good wishes and intentions. Almost amazed when I offer my hand in friendship! They do realise sincerity though ,and I'm proud to have met, and talked, in a non political way to these people. Could you do maybe a meet and greet with some of the people? Just an idea maybe. Hello David! I cannot speak on the behalf of all Russian people, I can speak only for myself. So I'm a person who is very cautious when it comes to other people - especially complete strangers. I don't know what to expect, so I choose to be kind of "cold" and very careful. But if I see that a person is genuine, then, gradually, I will feel more comfortable and open up a little. Here is one major misunderstanding when it comes to the Big Circle Line (later reffered as BCL) length and station count, as 2 stations TEMPORARILY belong to it. You can see it as an "appendix" in the north-western sector of BCL. They will be transferred to Rublevo-Archangelskaya line (RAL) once the sector of that line related to these stations will be completed (est. 2026-2027). So the actual numbers on Moscow BCL are 29 stations and 65 km (≈40 mi, still the longest metro circle line in the world though) of tracks, the whole trip around it will take 1.5 hours to complete. As for me as a Mockovite, this is a huge accomplishment and massive congratulations to everyone who worked on it! This won't exactly help my trips around the city, but I am sure this will help many others to find faster ways to their destinations. Bravo!

Hello, Russel. I was in Moscow as a student 3 years ago, actually I'm russian-speaking man, but I don't live in Russia, subway is incredible, but not so comfortable. I had to get to the university on the purple subway line. And it was terrible, because the congestion of the purple line has alwys been prohibitive. Now there is the Big Circle Line, passing the violet line, I hope it is very comfortable.
