My team were pretty angry but I was just having fun and they were impressed because I was somewhat decent, and not tilting. ​@@Snikpoh1390 While this is true and I personally wasn't interested in PvE, you have to realize that this affected PvP as well. Overwatch's PvP was neglected for 3 years with no new content or updates while under the guise that the team shifted their attention to work on PvE. That is the only reason why people were willing to put up with the stagnant state of the game, especially when double shield became meta, was because they were told essentially a standalone version of Overwatch would be coming out. If they didn't neglect PvP and continuously worked on it and gave updates (and even with OW2, where there's so much missing from the first and the matchmaking, rank system, and progression systems are terrible), then there wouldn't be as much of a backlash. It's the fact that they essentially spent 4 years fucking around while not doing anything to keep the PvP game alive, while using the OW2 title to switch to a very lucrative F2P model via the expensive store. Even then though, PvE would have brought a lot of new players to the IP, who would probably then trickle into the PvP community. So it all just hurts the playerbase.

this happened to me before on hanamura in overwatch 1, i was plat at the time, and the enemy team CLEARLY just let us cap the point constantly and they turned it up every single team fight they had to win. eventually we all just gave up and didnt even walk to point on attack. was about this length before we completely gave up

Open queue is genuinely fun. I enjoyed the tank synergies and stuff. Tanks did live for way too long sometimes but if you don't like the game mode just don't play it. Also the HP Nerf makes widow kinda insane.

To Flats question whether plats can play with bronzes in open queue....yes they can. I get 5 wins in open queue every season just for fun and to see whether it would put me higher than before...I'm plat 3 and I regularly have top 500 players in my games :D :D Which basically means they are high diamond but in open queue they are Top 500

Not an overreaction at all. Everyone ONLY started playing this game for the hopes of this "Awesome" PvE mode coming. Because ASIDE FROM THAT, it's literally the same exact fucking game as OW1. And people had LONGGG quit that game. So...Yeah. This game adds absolutely zero value now and most people will just quit after that announcement. Because now it's BACK to just being Ow1 with a BIG balance update and visual update. That's it. So creators will suffer big time from this. That's why I commented above that Flats should stop with OW videos for awhile and start working on A LOT more variety or another game period.
