So half-cutting is something done from a bind, leading in with the hands and diagonally covering space with the sword? I can see that working in a duel without armour, but there must be much less power behind such a cut? So it depends on context (setting up for a thrust afterwards, engage in wrestling or disengage and create distance)? I´m not a HEMA person, but I found this really intriguing c",)
