Commonly referred to as “basso profundo” and in Europe “Oktavist”. There is some technique involved to be sure, but it is probably 90% all the profusion of genetic makeup that all musicians share, but with the added bonus of a unique anatomy and physiology that is more akin to a type of mutation that one just has be born with. There is a whole lot of information and examples of this on KZbin if you’re interested. @@michaelramos4482 honestly, it’s because there’s nothing to teach. There are plenty of tutorials online of how to activate false fold phonation. In concept that’s all I do, the difference is that over time mine has come to have this specific sound. I can’t really teach something like that.
