Sit back and enjoy a beautiful Spring morning in Bag End, the home of Mr. Bilbo Baggins & Frodo Baggins.
For this video, I slightly edited the composure of the original image, created a unique flame for each of the candles on the chandelier, added the sound of a fire crackling on the hearth as well as birds singing outside the doorway. Enjoy.
If you enjoyed this video, be sure to visit my channel for more LOTR inspired videos.

That's what i want in life. A cozy home in the countryside, a garden, occasional visits from friends, perhaps an adventure or two. It's no bad thing to celebrate a simple life afterall. edit: oh my, we would make a pretty packed but lovely hobbiton! if only!

I can see why the hobbits were so resilient to the ring. They already had practically everything anyone could ask for in the Shire: beauty, friends, food, happiness. As a result, they had very little ambition for the cursed object to work with.

Things you mentioned are the things which encapsulates "happiness"-3 function of Indoeuropean Triad about which you can find more in the books of French anthropologist George Dumezil and many other books about Indoeuropean cultures. I usualy recomend my fav archeological book "Heaven, Heroes and Happiness. Indoeuropean Roots of Western Ideology". The 1th function was the function of mind (reason) but also of magic and of spiritual powers, 2d function was the function of will (strengh), and was about war and law. 3d function was the function of beauty (heart) and it was about providing, fertility, nature. In myths and fairytales 1 function belongs to sages, mages and priests.2d function belongs to honorable warriors and lawful kings.3d belongs to farmers, gardeners, artisans which means the providers of both body needs and spirit needs.1function gods and heroes were the sky gods and the magic gods - like Odin and Zeus. 2d function gods and heroes were warrior-gods - like Thor and like Tyr who also was the god of honor and oath-taking so the "legal" god. 3d function gods and heroes were the Twins. Usualy its twin brothers who are the sons of earth godess or the sons of god of heaven. We can name them after Greek Dioscuroi-"the boys of god" or we can name them after hindu Asvins-depicted as horses or as herders of horses. They were friendly gods who usualy helped mortals in dangerous accidents and were masters of archery and of healing. There is smt in our elves from them-archery and healing and cultivating of beautiful lands. But in many mythologies the twins got their female fellow-she could be their mother or sister or wife.sometimes the twins are brother and sister like Freya and Freyr. In mythologies the twin brothers represent 3d function of prosperity, family and home. Its heroes were usualy farmers and in fairytales „the youngest brothers”. 1th function is for gods of wisdom, priests and magicians, 2d function is the part of warriors like Indra and Mithra. The protectors of innocents.3d function god of vikings was Freyr with his golden wildboar and his rule over Light Elves.Odin was 1th and Thor 2d.1 function is about values of wisdom, magic, knowledge.2 function is about values of warriors-like honor and protection of justice. The policeman and detective in our tv crimestories is 2d function hero.Becouse his main goal is finding thruth in order to do justice and to protect the order. And he can use warrior skills.2d function heroes are kings who do justice and who protect order.Aragorn calls „let justice be done upon him”.In Indoeuropean archaic age (bronze age and iron age) there were two kinds of kings-one was the „king-shaman” or „the king-priest” whose main job was maintaining the contact with gods and ancestors, the other was „the king-warrior” whose main function was protection by war and day to day govern of legal matters.Thats why in "Beowulf"we got Hrothgar who was the king and his brother Helga who was not the priest but his name is connected to the earlier times when there were dual-kingships in Germanic tribes-one was king and his brother was priest. Helga's name comes from Hailege-"sacrificed to gods".The anti-heroes of 1 function are dark mages and false prophets or the priests who desacrated their sanctuaries.anti-heroes of 2d can be seen as traitors like Starkad-he killed 3 kings whom he served-the first one was sacrificed to their gods, the second was left alone in battle and the third was murdered in a bath.3d function of mythical triad is about values of family, home and prosperity. heroes of 3d function are the ones who protect these values and save families and homes-like hobbits. And who are the healers-like Jackson's Arwen and Tauriel, and Elrond who was twin! brother. In 3d function the gods and heroes can be both male and female. But also they can be feminine, beautiful men like Bres or Freyr. The anti-heroes of this function are those who are condemned for sexual misconduct or who poisons not heal or who are greedy and inhospitable.Bres was inhospitable toward other gods. The gods and heroes of 3d function usualy are healers or are beautiful or are lovers or are owners of big lands. In the viking's art the twins are presented as two horses or as horse heads as horses who drive the chariot of the sun Skinfaxi and Hrynfaxi-Winter-fax and Frozen-fax. I can see them in Jackson’s movie. 😊 Edoras ornamentations were designed after two medieval vikings style of art-Ringelike style and Urnes style. And the Golden Hall was build by two main inspirations-one was the real relics of vikings halls from 5th century excavated by archeologists in Denmark the second was „Beowulf” poem where we got the description of Heoroth hall. Jackson’s Meduseld is build after the description of the hall from „Beowulf”. And in the vikings art the depictions of Hrynfaxi and Skinfaxi was popular. Although not as popular as the depictions of the main triad of Odin, Thor and Freyr. The twin heads of horses we can see on the main roof of Golden Hall in the movie. 😊 These are twin protectors of the prosperity of the people. If you think that its coincidence that in LOTR we have Gandalf-as mage, Aragorn-as warrior-king and Frodo-as farmer (sort of) and Sam as the gardener - think again :) Its all here 1. Gandalf, 2. Aragorn, 3. Frodo and Sam, not twins but ultimate brothers. The hero of wisdom in his old age, the warrior-king in his middle age and the Innocent „third brother” from fairytales in his young age - rich and beautiful but only a farmer. The mind, the will, and the heart. The protectors of the Earth. 😊

@@max-wn2ht thank you warmly :) Its just that I work upon a long essay about Jackson's movies - all 6 of them, and the aplicability of the heroeic archetype of functional triad is one of this essay's main focus. Though not the biggest focus. So for about 3 months (though I started to write this paper at the end of 2019) I gathered much more materials for comparison between the Dumezilian triad and Jacksons adaptations.

LoTR is my all time favorite series of Books and Movies, nothing comes close to the world that Tolkien created, and to see it brought to life in the most magnificent way possible is a blessing that everyone who loves LoTR should treasure. This makes me feel like Home, despite it being a fictional place, LoTR makes me feel like no book or movie ever has. Truly the greatest trilogy of all time, in Literature and Cinema alike, nothing even comes close. Thank you for this, the music is incredibly calming, Howard Shore really nailed this soundtrack.

I realy feel that its your poetic way of talking about a near future in which there will be more and more of two stark choices for any people - as I m sure most people ever seek something of value which is deeper and higher than ourselves. Becouse I guess that we need things which are much deeper and much higher than we as individuals are. Why we need them, I dont know, I m sure there can be many answers to this question. But we need these things. Thats why we are humans creating cultures and not only mammals. And that is the point of the road from which our ways are starting to differ. Becouse some of us (I would call them, normal non-sociopatic ppl) would seek to find higher and deeper values toward which we can serve, and for which we can be creative and to be helpful to each other. And some of us (more sociopatic minds probably) seek to find power and riches in order to dominate the will of others. To control others minds. The ultimate end of freedom. They seek ruling over others. And thats when we can differ on our roads even though I feel like both of those kind of personages want to seek something transcendent, something more in life, something of deeper and higher value. But some of us taking this perilous road of seeking higher values (not only living for the day to day cares) will be lost to the wispers of their own egos and will think that its not higher values they want to serve to but its their own exeptionalism and their own value everything and everyone should serve as higher value. :)

The grandest of music, at once lushly rich and poignantly heart-tugging. I have an extraordinarily wide vocal range that enables me to sing in all eight registers of the chorus, so I take immense delight in singing along even with the instrumental portions.

Sitting in a chair in my cozy little barn with my feet propped up enjoying my pipe packed with lane 1q and a small glass of whiskey listening to this relaxing music and cloud/nature watching out the front double doors. I've had a lifetime of adventures, seen horrendous things and joys beyond measure with my brothers, but this simple life is all I need.

I long to walk the fields and forest of the Shire. Sit at the four farthing stone and smoke a pipe of Old Toby; stroll through Bamfarlong and eat mushrooms with Farmer Maggot; look at the emblems of the Mathom house; Go to the Green Dragon after a long day in the fields and when finished drinking a pint I'd remark "That was a proper 1420 that was"; Visit the party field and see the last and most beautiful Mallorn tree this side of the mountains. I imagine what the Shire would look like 40-60 years after Sam's forestry work when the Shire would be back to the way it ought to be. But alas, I cannot enter the Shire. Elessar Talcontar has forbid me as a human to enter. I can only imagine...
