Yeah the graphics are a bit rough around the edges, but some of the characters and environments look amazing, plus its a really fun slash 'em up

No, at the beginning of the game you can choose if you want to use the stylus or D-pad controls, if you're not happy with your choice you can always change it in the settings later on (I prefer D-pad controls)

I'm pretty far into the game now, I've just started the evil campaign and I have to say this game is ridiculously fun. You can lead hordes of allies into battle and playing as heroes is awesome (Aragorn, Gandalf etc.) You can also be a troll or ent and smash through hordes of enemies

The same company is making a game called 'Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron' for the DS, they're using the same engine but it will probably have improvements, I'd recommend waiting for that

Not in the DS version of the game, 3rd person view is only in the PS3 and X360 versions

@ivorysandstorm It's up to you for the DS Library and for the game there is only 6 maps -.- (Black Gate, Minas Tirith, Pelenor Fields, Moria, Helms Deep and the plains of gorgorth)

I am a hardcore gamer, I play every game in every console. The graphics are way better than driver in gba. Graphic doesn't make gameplay bad.

well i agree graphics shouldnt be an issue if you enjoy the game then thats what counts also make sure to grab red and yellow orbs because if you didnt know they increase attack (red) and movement speed (yellow)

yes the controlls are easy. yes it uses the stylus to attack stuff

blame IGN for that one, archers and mages are much more fun than warriors. special classes and heroes become playable at certain points during the battle, e.g. Aragorn becomes playable at the black gate when Sauron appears. No the maps do vary e.g. Pelenor fields has a large open space, as does helms deep etc.

Skyveiw is the only way DS version would work. If it were RIGHT behind the person, stylus control would be screwed.

I agree with RockerBoy. Besides, speaking about graphics, Baldur's Gate 2, Planescape torment and Fallout 2, are the best RPGs ever, and they got, (as some people would say), "bad graphics".

Apologies, if youre talking about trying metroid prime- Do it. My ONLY complaint about the other all game is a boss gets recycled one too many times, otherwise its a very typical entertaining metroid game. first person on the ds takes a liiittle getting used to, but once you do its really as fluent as using a mouse, at least for me. The multiplayer on it is great fun too.

Ill have to blame the operator on this one. 1st person took me a little to get used to, but works -very- well on the DS. Ill take a stylist over a joystick any day for console first person gaming. I thought the hunters game was great overall, great multiplayer idea, great exploring game, typical metroid goodness.

I need a good battlefront game for DS. And seeing as Battlefront is rubbish on DS, I think this will do nicely. I know it's not perfect. But I hear better things about the DS version than the HDs.

If I could ever find my DS, I might pick this up on it, except the levels look pretty clausterphobic and linear, so there is not much fun to be had in that. If there are any levels which are open in the DS (Pelenor Fields), then I stand corrected.
