"Too many endings" is the dumbest complaint. It was proper closure after 9 fucking hours! We want to see the resolution of the characters and their fates, not end right after the climax!

Im actually glad we didn't see Sauron in any form at the end, it's good to see and imagine but for real it was Frodo and Sam we was rooting for at this point. Aragorn had his moment with the ectoplasm army.🤺👑💍👑

Jackson and the film crew were genuine stewards of these books, and their love for the material spills over into each movie. Time and attention to story detail make these kinds of adaptations great, not just throwing money at a project (though to be sure, New Line did have to cough up I think around $260 million).

It was ultimately disappointing. Only 8 episodes, and not another season until at least 2024 is lame considering the overall poor quality. They have also moved the filming to the UK after the first season. Extra lame.

I hope then whole film crew knows that J.R.R. Tolkien would be happy and amazed with what they've done with the LOTR trilogy. Especially since Tolkien had alot of doubt it could be dramatized. I haven't met a single person that doesn't like the LOTR trilogy. Everybody I've met that had something to say about it, started that ít one of, if not, their favorite trilogy. And I'm 1000% sure Tolkien would be disgusted with what Amazon has done to the LOTR lore. Money doesn't produce cinematic gold, great film crews does.

Funny cause at 22:40, I found the story was Samwise's story, not frodo's. Imo, Frodo sold out at the end and Sam rescued him, like Frodo went darkside and Sam brought him back real quick. Plus, Sam definitely had the better ending.
