It's literally got Rohirrim in the title and we didn't really get to see the psychology of the knights which is what they're known for. Instead we got the story of a made-up character that did not represent the Rohirrim at all.

Exactly. It didn't explore anything that would make it relevant to the over all series.

@@MrFlo5787 Um okay yes but we are talking about how it fits into the established canon. You can't make up stuff in a pre-established world without thinking it through.

I was not as bad as I was expecting but it’s 2024 and I’m done with the girl boss and queer baiting crap. The film has squeezed in references to Gandalf (member berries) and there are a lot of call backs which I’m on the fence about. Tolkien created a mythology of events before LOTR such as this which get repeated in LOTR so part of me says that’s fine. However with the level hack writers it probably is them not having much so they are repeating themes (member berries) and changing the details. Very disappointing, I really wanted this to be good.

@@chadcurtis7967 Yes the member berries made me laugh out loud in the cinema.
