"You're famous for being in something that's fuckin cool.... What's that like?" Jim, for my money, Legit was one of the best sit coms to come out of America in a long time. Excellent and well written material, unique premises, daring exploration of sensitive themes. You managed to address the day to day problems of the disabled without ever being exploitative. Compassionate without ever being patronising to the disabled community. America, while you were watching endless repeats of How I Met Your Mother bullshit, you let a gem of a show get cancelled.

Tolkien was in the First World War and Mordor was based off no mans land from the trench war fare he was in. The hobbit was released in 1937 and the lord of the ring books were written between 1937-1949 but not released until 1954

No doubt I loved Lee and Rhys-Davies and McKellen's ACTOR stuff, and Elijah and Sean were full of stories, and wooo when Andy Serkis and Lawrence Makoare (Witch-King & Uruk-Hai leader) came in, and all the others who contributed; still, it was the Dom & Billy Show. GOING TO FIND PODCAST NOW.

A dinner party fact for lotr could be that Tolkien popularised the "Dwarves" and "elves* spellings. Before Tolkien the plurals of Dwarf and Elf were "dwarfs" and "elfs". He also wanted to write the whole book in the languages used in Middle Earth that he himself made up.

My kitty right now is named Stryder-pants and her brother before her was named Haldir. One of my favorite theories is that the ent wives, which the films only briefly touch on and how they “disappeared!” Well, the theory goes during one of the wars they traveled and found a peaceful vegetative land and overtime became hobbits which is why they are such farmers and in touch spiritually with the land. Also why the hobbits had a weird sense of knowing with the ents in the books.

There's no competition genius, this isn't old fashioned television with time slots. I'll co-host. We need a catchy title and backgrounds. I'll draw portraits of cast members and hang it behind me on a green wall. I already bought "Market Green" paint. Rodney will be carrying an egg with a spoon. I'll draw Jim's face after he heard the N bomb on the pier. I only have a phone. You will need a computer and editing skills, or else we will need a third co-host. The KZbin algorithm might recommend our podcast to people that watch this one. We can advertise in this comment section. Maybe we'll never get enough views to be monitized, but we'll have lots of fun. I hope your not Canadian, it will be better if we have different accents'eh. EUREKA! Dopey & Genius Watch Legit

Jim was just riffin', not serious about the Legit watch along genius. Just an experimental thought shared with co-hosts. He already said everything he has to say about Legit. Saying, "I actually wrote this episode verbally, but the writer who typed it took all the credit according to screen writers' guild rules" again while watching along is redundant. However, it would be convenient to have those stories in one place. Easier for people who haven't heard them to find them. Forrest, Kelly and Jack could add funny comments. It was an idea that ended up on the cutting room floor. You keep holding your breath. You remind me of my buddy that didn't realize his girlfriend already dumped him. Having Nick Daley as a Legit expert on IDKAT would be fun.
