I have read so many of your comments that want more music reviews and history. Well I hope this can satiate your appetite for a little bit. We have lots of ideas for the camera set-up and audio going forward so I look at this one kind of like a pilot episode for the video podcast. It's all came together a little mish-mash but I'm happy I got it out. Also it will be up on Spotify! It just takes a little bit longer on that platform. Also all my old podcasts are on Spotify under GothCast. Thanks so much.

Nice to see you back and doing a video version of the podcast! Love The Lords of the New Church. They have such a unique sound and style. They aren’t just Goth or Glam. They sort of do a bit of everything. Easily my favorite album from them is Is Nothing Sacred. It has so many fantastic songs on it like Dance With Me, Johnny Too Bad, The Night is Calling and of course their fantastic cover of Live for Today by The Grass Roots. Thanks again for doing this! Would love to see you tackle some bands like The Church, Celtic Frost, Gene Loves Jezebel, Skinny Puppy and Killing Joke

Fantastic!! Welcome back! Hate to be that guy, but when can we expect part 2’s for New Order, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails and Ministry?

I'm trying to figure out how to do some of those follow ups. I think I might re-review the albums from Part 1 and go forward from there. Especially so Noah can have a fresh take. Hard to say

@@doktorsanders That’s perfectly understandable and makes sense. Look forward to it!

Just ran into this channel. Good stuff. Also, when it comes to a lot of classic "goth", I would include them. When I spin goth nights, I include them, but I also include a lot of wider range of dark alternative music.

So excited that there's a new GothCast, I've missed you brother! I always find your retrospectives help orient me in a band's career and get me listening to stuff I wouldn't otherwise. Also this is a pay attention podcast for me, no sleeping with it on 🦇

I bought Method to Our Madness off eBay as I watched this. And Phantasmagoria came out in 85.

Stiv and Monroe were friends in the early 80s. I had some Monroe in gym playlist. And the Damned.
