And here it is, the moment we’ve all been waiting for…..and it’s actually pretty disturbing. Before it was more hilarious than unsettling, to the point it’s become a meme in the Nasuverse. But here, Shiki’s almost serene thought process as he’s physically snapping and lashing out, then immediately switching back to normal like nothing happened is genuinely horrifying.

I'm probably stating the obvious, but Ciel's route seems more enjoyable than Arcueid's. I've always liked both heroine's for different reasons, and was torn between choosing one over the other, but this remake is definitely pushing me into Ciel's corner. Especially since Satsuki seems to have avoided her tragic end from the original VN, for now at least. Definitely keep the vids coming! It took me awhile to watch this since I'm currently grinding the lotto in FGO, and the holidays probably have everybody busy. Hope the views pick up soon, and Happy Holidays! :)

About Volv biting Noel, it seems that the bite wasn't deep enough nor did he draw enough blood to start the transformation process, meaning she wasn't in any danger of turning into a Dead Apostle. However, Dr. Arach bluntly states that Noel has so little talent and potential that she won't even become a Dead Apostle, even if Volv was able to drink her blood long enough. In short, she'll just become a Dead or Ghoul.

Roa point out that it isn't that simple, that True Ancestors target only "evil people" who are direct treats and obstructors like yours truly, he also influence Shiki thought patern into realizing this is likely driven by the fact the Planet simple agree to humanity's own standarsts of beauty. This is a call back to Garden of Avalon together with a meta-comentary of how Nasu writting was influenced by the ecoawareness explosion of his generation, where films like Madmax and Waterworld always pictured a grim future for the planet due to human intervention and since then he has changed. Since the source of this is Roa, who not only show great insight of Arcueid's powers and limits in their fight in her route but also knows about how her luminous body opperate; he can be considered the greatest experts in True Ancestours in Nasuverse. This is compounded by Ciel herself, who is gifted with great deal of his knowledge, contradicting Arcueid's statement about dead apostles no longer being humans, stanting they still remain firmly as a subspecies of humans/homo sapiens. Considering Dead Apostles no longer are the poor man's version of True Ancestors, having their exclusive blessing of Idea Blood that True Ancestours lack, coupled with their social structure, as each one is a king in their own right, no longer having factions dedicated to bring back Crimson Moon and finaly, their dietary needs and reproduction practices make them a unlikely existential treat to human race continuation, their war with the church being a war of supremacy instead. The fact they keep to the Masquerade of secrecy and even having pacts with the church like the ones Roa had only confirm it. by the way, Zouken's methodes has its merit as he bypassed the mental polution DA are subject by bonding with too many familiars and his soul wasn't tainted by some alien entity either, allowing him to live from at least Da Vinci's time to modern days. Roa's is similar to the Yggdrasil's leader, only being especial in that its transmission means are excepcional even if they only availe to a overly convoluted self-spiritual invocation like Shirou did to manifest Archer's experience.

regarding your concern with the views, I think you should just wait it out. This is a great series on exposing the Tsukihime franchise to overseas fans, while I'm not entirely into Tsukihime (I'm more of a fgo player) Tsukihime does interest me and this series helped me realized how great the story is, it makes sense why tons of people wanted a remake. Unfortunately though, it is not a full remake. Keep up the good work man, looking forward to the end.

Back to Noel... while I think cowardice is a definitive trait of hers, I'm not sure if her brutality always is. There's always touches of it, but when she goes to town on the dead in volvs lair I'd be willing to say that's more brutal efficiency than brutal cruelty. In this route though, she goes unhinged. Her primary goals of living a good, normal life and getting revenge on Roa are foiled in separate ways. The bite convinces her she's turning, we only figure that she isn't with the doctor (as far as I can tell, anyways) So living a normal life is out of the question, so she takes risks to complete the other one. Torturing fresh vampires, getting petty revenge. The justification she gives Mario is that she's doing this to find Roa, and I bet she honestly believes that. When she approaches Shiki and Ciel in the sewers, it's the first time in literally any conflict I've seen so far where she tries to fight against a stronger person. Even when she antagonizes Arc in Arcs route, she backs out immediately after throwing her keys to stop her from biting shiki until Mario makes her fight. She knows how weak she is, but she's lost all sense of self preservation in order to try to kill Roa. She's a neat character, and I hope we get to see more of her not insane in other eventual routes. I don't think she'll get her own route, honestly, since she's in a much lower power/relevance class than other characters. She's connected to Ceil/Roa and that's more or less it. But if there's ever a lore dump route with Mario, she's probably going to be important in it.

For some Acrueids route seems more fun or better. Perhaps it was the air of mystery at the beginning for not knowing what was going to happen. Ciel's route seems romantic but not quite my taste in romance. Also, she is overpowered but not in a fun or meaningful way. I just remembered how annoying arc can be from mocking any sweet moment ciel has or just being a thorn constantly coming around. Minus 4 points from me. Calling her a jealous girlfriend is exactly how she acts. It's like if saber kept jumping into everything Shirou did regardless of route Acting like a child when he ignore her. Still don't like Noelle. If they know souls are inside ghouls and apostles aside the true ancestors and top vampires it's not right to enjoy destorying them as much as she does. It's basically how the soul reapers and Quincy handle destorying hollows in bleach as a trickle down affect. Don't know why shikis confused face reminds me of soichirou and soujuro from mahoyo. It's kinda funny to see. When hisui is on screen with the death lines it feels like she is wearing a headset playing video games in the lines. Oh yeah satchin exists here. Guess nasu wants to give her more options before we get to her route. Akiha looking pretty as always Poor chair kun. All he wanted was to get sit on and hold others up in comfort. JUSTICE FOR CHAIR KUN Mario reminds me of Nemo and leo fusion with his attitude. Lots of bad ends here for small things happening
