In the Japanese language Green is a shade of blue. Midori the word for green is a newer and is used like a shad more than a colour. like how in English cyan is a shade. but we also see it as its own colour

I REAAAAALLY wish the Lupin had their own active beast tribe. They look so cool and I love wolves! The Kojin was a pretty fun beast tribe to complete though.

I think they were just so spoiled for choice in Stormblood. 4 fantastic beast tribes to create quests for... The Lupin had to least (independent) lore to them though. Which is why I think they chose to expand on the other 3 instead. But Lupin lore tomorrow!

It’s weird how they call themselves blue when you can clearly see they’re green. And that’s a thing that carries into Asian culture. The Azure Dragon Seiryū is often depicted as green rather than actual blue, or a turquoise that’s more on the green side
