I actually watched that documentary you mentioned with my mom just a few days ago, and it's *amazing* to think that the ancients may've had technology beyond even what *we* have today; it certainly explains why it's such a popular trope in fantasy media for a much more Renaissance, Medieval, or even *earlier* style civilization to be built on the ruins of a super technologically *advanced* one, and it *also* reveals just how *primitive* we are in comparison, with a lot of *our* technologies not being able to do some of the things *they* pulled off, and how *arrogant* we are, *projecting* that primitivity onto *them* . Though in *my* opinion, it wasn't *necessarily aliens* who gave us this technology; it's *equally* likely that after establishing a worldwide empire, *Atlantis* decided to *share some* of its technology with the ancients. After all, Plato describes Atlantis as being *very* technologically advanced, so I'd say it's entirely possible. PS: there're a couple of very *small* things I wanna correct you on; not in regards to *Fate* lore, as you know *way* more about that than me, but just about a couple elements of Greek mythology, and one of them's just a *pronunciation* thing. *First* off, it *wasn't* holy fire that Thetis bathed Achilles in to make him immortal except for that spot on his heel, but the *waters* of the *River Styx* , the river that the ferryman Charon ferries the souls of the dead across to Erebus. Second, you've been pronouncing Chiron's name *Kay.ron* ; it's *actually* pronounced *Kye.ron* , or sometimes *Kye.run* .

I think the reason the labyrinth in Atlantis lacks the Minotaur is because the Atlantis Lostbelt was also connected to the Lostbelt in Russia. Therefore, killing the Minotaur in Russia made the labyrinth empty when we reached Atlantis, we killed it already.

We basically had to force him to act every time. Dude is still a lazy pos, but he showed that when the chips were down he'd actually step up. That isn't redemption, it's depth.

Compared to everyone else, Odysseus was practically the only enemy that had us dead to rights. No Villain in the entire story has ever been this level of thorough in making sure we couldn't fight back like Odysseus has reached. Its crazy. We, as the character, have never thought in our mind that we could very well die at that moment and keep a positive outlook on pulling through it. This was legit a dispair moment.

In which a cataclysmic event created something. Chicxulub meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs and is also reference in Quetzalcoatl's Noble Phantasm can't be a coincidence.

To add to this insanity that much "alien" interference in the South America lostbelt could be the cause of it being a complete failure. To add to this, Rasputin (Kotomine) might be a summoned as a foreigner. Rasputin alone could qualify as a foreigner because of his life and with Kotomine saying the Alien God was sustaining his and granting him his power. Also with Caster Cu identity revelation in lb 6 along with an append skill that grants him a damage mod against Foreigners. Especially since cu lancer was Kotomine's servant in the past. Expect a lot of extra class enemies in the coming months.

Honestly wish we could have seen more of the war before we arrived as it was probably one of the most metal slaughters ever similar to the prequel to Camelot where the knights and real Jaques were and split into a civil war. Babylon too with the rest of the servants Gil summoned and That's when a story is cooler when you know something happened before and after it's done. The story was very fun to see especially Orion he was just super fun and powerful. Jason was a delight and genius overall and honestly I would have enjoyed seeing this cast in part 2 as well. Would say the hektor summon was a plot device but it was well hinted at enough bringing him up mutiple times so it was fine. Marcardio was a bro but kinda annoying reminds me of a friend in high school I had. Overall one of the better stories in lostbelt and it's only half.

The Atlantis campaign has probably been my favorite LB (and it's just the first part of). After this, Charlotte deserves so much love! DW must've known this since she gets a summer version of herself, which I am really looking forward to in 2023! Caenis is going to need some serious therapy after all of this; and when Olympus comes out, I'm gonna really wanna punch Dioscuri in their snobby faces! And I can't wait to see who the traitor is in Chaldea; the only one who I'm confident isn't the traitor is Goredolf. But can you imagine how heartbreaking it'd be if the traitor was Da Vinci, Sherlock, or Sion?? Edit: And Orions dignity has been restored (his grand archer self at least, and not his teddy form with Artemis)

I feel like you can also discount Da Vinci being the traitor as well, since she has been with you every step of the way and literally gave her life for you at the very beginning with holding back Rasputin. Not to mention she was like the third heroic spirit ever summoned and was Romani's friend and greatly benefited humanity even after death. I feel like if it is anyone it has to be one of the other characters watching from the sidelines. Since we don't know much about her, Sion is definitely on the list of suspects. Also don't the people in the Atlus Institute generally don't care what is happening outside because they are hermits? Meunière is on the list because he hasn't really proven himself like Goredolf. For all we know, he could have helped Lev place the bombs at the very beginning since he was a staff member that didn't get killed. He could have been working under Lev, who was also working under Goetia and if the guy disguised as Romani is Goetia, he would have known. Sherlock feels like a logical and obvious choice despite him risking his life in Scandinavia. He brings too much information to the table and is incredibly helpful with his deductions. For all we know he knows what is happening in the lostbelts, but claims to keep his deductions to himself, till we know just enough information that we should figure it out because of Da Vinci. Like Sherlock Holmes would be too convenient that I want to discredit him, but can't. So I would say either Sherlock Holmes or Sion and Meunière being a complete wildcard. Although my theory goes out the window if any of them got swapped out. If that was the case, I would possibly rule out the servants since their spirit cores could be inspected at anytime and either Da Vinci, Sherlock, and Mash would have made note of it since we were told there is only 1 traitor.

I know I have spoken of it before in their corresponding lore videos, but I have a favorite Servant from each of the different classes. You’ve provided greatly enjoyable videos for my favorite Saber, Lancer, Rider, Assassin, Berserker, Ruler, Avenger, Moon Cancer, Alter Ego and Foreigner, those being Okita, Brynhildr, Astolfo, Cursed Arm Hassan, MHX Alter, Jeanne and Jeanne Alter, BB, Kingprotea and Abigail, and through technicality Mash, as the story of FGO is quite often her story as well. To justify that digression, I now tell you my favorite Archer is Paris. I know well how controversial a figure he is in the Iliad and many adaptations, but he’s so darn cute, and likeable here that I can’t help but adore the little guy. I’m actually proud to declare he’s the second and latest Servant I’ve given a Grail to, after fulfilling my promise to Medusa to give my original Servant the first one. I was very happy to hear he’s in this chapter, and I can’t wait to fight alongside him. I’m hoping you give him a lore video before too long (perhaps along with his brother Hector), but I have no desire to rush you to do it. Thank you for another excellent video, and I look forward to your coverage of Olympus: the Interstellar Mountainous City.

(In all seriousness, I quite enjoy this new installment of the FGO lore series. Not only did it help flesh out some areas of the chapter, but it also discovering that the Greek gods are celestial alien machines rather than mana-condensed entities is a huge shocker that made me re-evaluate some aspects of my fan fiction. Wanting to pertain some canon while making some personal expansions upon existing lore and add some that are compatible with the Natsuverse. I liked this Lostbelt for the most part, especially how every servant and side character had their own important roles to play to overcome the obstacles in their way and come out on top. Enemies and bosses on the other hand weren't particularly memorable to me but they served their purpose adequately. Expecting Olympus to do better in that regard though. As a side note, reading the story was the push I needed to go ahead and NP4 Chiyome instead of turning 3 copies of her into RPs, then she showed up yet again during new year's so she's now NP5 :)

One question that always plagued me since I heard Jason was a saber was: "Why isn't he a Rider?" And hearing about his heroics in this lost belt, despite being a joke servant, made me realize. He really deserved it after this redemption arc.

For the Traitor on the shadow border I might be wrong and hopefully I am but it might be De Vichy. She was killed at the beginning of all of this And her extra servant body might have been tempered with before we escape. Another is that Gettia might be referring to the mysterious alien lady Who's been following us.

I have a feeling that the traitor that mysterious Chaldean speaking about is none other than Guda, the Master. Why with this contradicting statement? Well this is my opinion only. There might be something on the finale that may or may not would force the Master make a choice. The betrayal part maybe unto that the protagonist will have his/her options regarding the matters that might go against Chaldea. This is my theory. No need to poke me with torches and pitchfork over it :D

( Yes i know that this is Moriarty, but i have this feeling that he is saying th e truth. Moreover, he say he will come help us if Sherlock has to be a traitor ) Surtr as the start of LB2 saying that Sherlock was like Mash and that something was wrong with his saint graph. Obviously, what Goetia say is the most suspicious. And i don't think Guda is the traitor, it's a good theory yes. But if Guda was the traitor, why would Goetia forced to cut the comms with the Shadow Border in Atlantis where he reveals to us about the traitor. Moreover, he is impliying that the traitor is on the Shadow Border so it's between Goredolf, Da Vinci, Sherlock and Meunière. Though it's impossible for Goredolf and Da Vinci to be one, at least for me. Sherlock is the most suspicious. Zeus cursing him, preventing him to use an ace is also suspicious but more in the good side i think Little spoiler ahead : I do not forget Sion being sus at least at the of Tunguska where she almost reveals that she is a vampire, well the reader Can Guess that.

This has been eating at me for awhile now: is there a chance that the Romani look-alike isn’t Goetia, but actually Solomon? As Solomon disappeared only in Proper Human History, it’s entirely possible this is a Solomon from the Lost Belts, who like the others gained memories from his Proper Human History version. He doesn’t have to like us, or even care about us. He doesn’t have to act on Romani’s memories. But if he believed in Proper Human History as the best choice for the planet, he would be compelled to step in at least once. It makes more sense to me than Goetia surviving, because even if he did, he hated us with all his being. I honestly don’t think, no matter his thoughts on the alien god, he would choose to help us now.

@@otakudaikun Solomon and Romani might be the same person, but Solomon had his own appearance separate from Romani. If he wanted to appear as Solomon in his original appearance, why choose to look like Romani? It’s something to consider. There’s no guarantee that the Solomon of the Lost Belts looked more like Romani than the Caster version that made Goetia killable.

Do remember that some of the Pillars in the hivemind did survive the death of Goetia. all it would take is one of them having betters priorities other than bully Chaldea for it to do it's thing. also, i believe It's priority is less so to help chaldea and moreso to fuck up the Alien God in whichever way it deems fit. anyway, slight spoiler warning for LB 6 so uh, don't read if you don't want spoiler At some point in lostbelt 6, Morgan and Romani's look-alike have a little chat (or rather, the latter barges in to applaud Morgan). during so, "Romani" activley declares "...your victory is close. As someone who was once in your shoes, I would like to applaud your journey." which i'm pretty sure alone confirms it's Goetia, or at the very least one of the surviving Demon God Pillars

This will detail the current theory (as well as my own) in who the possible traitor is. The reasoning behind this currently hinges on a spoiler from the English Lostbelt so if you don’t want to know, I’d recommend you stop reading. At the end English lostbelt, we are introduced to a new servant class called Pretender. These amongst this class have to ability to disguise themselves as another being. It’s not as simple as putting on a disguise, everything about them from Parameters, Skills, Behavior/Personality, Noble Phantasm, and even Saint Graph are all different to fit the disguise. They came even change what class we see when we analyze them. This new class, if it’s actually what the traitor is using, narrowed the list down to Nemo, Da Vinci, and Holmes. The current belief is that Holmes is the traitor. The evidence mainly comes (off the top of my head so I could be forgetting something) from two places. One being his class. Holmes is normally a Caster, but Holmes states that circumstances allowed him to become a Ruler (I actually forgot what these were, but if Holmes is a pretender, he could change his class to give off the appearance and abilities of a Ruler). The other being Moriarty’s comments on how Holmes acts differently than he remembers )I forgot where he said this at the time of writing this). With all that in mind, it is believed that Holmes is the traitor. That said, knowing Fate it could be all a red herring for the true traitor.

Kirschtaria father doesn't deserve title of magus. He tried to destroy next generation of his family because of wounded pride. Also if I understand this correctly while he is extremely powerful in this era he is relied on the sky to use his really strong powers. So if I understand it correctly if he was drowned into Reality Marble he would be downgraded to power he possess in present time? I also wonder how useful would be Excalibur in the lostbelt. Anyway thank you for summery they are great and allow to learn plot without playing.
