I skipped over the JP servants since I don't want to see those guys until the game drops them in NA, but it was fun seeing your friends rack their heads for some names, and then just get Tesla in one second. Something similar that another channel did was listing off an NP name and give a multiple choice selection for who's the user. So that might be an interesting thing to try? But I don't know if that's stepping on someone else's toes too much.

That's 100% fair. I was just looking through the list of all servants looking for not-Stay Night servants that they'd have a chance at guessing lol Idk about the Noble Phantasms idea. It's one thing if it's a video everybody does, but something that specific might be a bit too close to plagiarism. Not sure, it might be fun to look at trying.

This was really fun even knowing the Servants myself cuz I was guessing what kinds of clues you'd give instead. (Ar-go fuck yourself was great) Though if you'll continue this with people who are not familiar with Fate, a different clue besides their class would probably be better? It'll save you the time and/or headache of having to explain the classes to them (especially the ones outside of the initial 7 + ruler and maaaybe avenger?). Just a thought :)

I’m certain that HomeZz fella has prior knowledge about Fate. Even if only a bit would give him the clear advantage. Besides that, if someone is completely new to the Fate Verse, giving them the class is quite meaningless. Consider how wacky the class classification in Fate is. Also, you shouldn’t have imposed a point deduction for wrong answer. I can see that prevented them from going forward and make some wild guess. Last, but not least. For questions that no one has an answer, it’s best to ask them to speak who’s their most likely suspects are. Instead of revealing it immediately.

HomeZz was a Knowledge Bowl champion in high school, so his obscure knowledge of random things is surprisingly high. And yeah, there's definitely things I could have done differently to make it a better "gameshow" type of experience, but overall I think the guys all had fun, which is really what I was shooting for.

Tbh, he doesn't "feel" like he knows of Fate, more than he's just knowledgeable in general. I tried doing this with 3 of my friends, and almost everyone performed relatively well. They even got most of the European/American servants, and almost all the gods. One of them even managed to guess Musashi which was the most shocking to me.

@@thedean0 The format is nice, but the class reveal isn't the best hint. The design alone either makes the class obvious, narrows it down to a couple options (like Archer/Assassin for guys like Billy or Robin Hood) or doesn't really correlate to the class at all (like with Ivan who looks more like a Caster or Berserker, but knowing that he's a Rider wouldn't help with guessing his identity as he doesn't have his mount in the background either).

You confused pseudo servants and alter egos, pseudo servants are the people with possessed by servants, alter egos are a aspect of a being manifesting separate from the rest of it, kind of like if you imagine a god of water and fire, when summoned as a servant he would have access to both sides of his power even if one is completely overshadowed by the other, as an alter ego no piece of the other aspect would be present

Yeah EMIYA is technically the youngest servant since the 5th Grail war took place during the beginning 2004 when he was 17 so he would have been born in the year 1987 which makes him 10 years younger than Voyager or has a really late 1986 birthday where's he 9 years younger but either way EMIYA is the most recent addition to the Throne of Heroes even if he did it in a roundabout way through becoming a Counter Guardian. And for the Prillya stuff those are just Class cards with fragments of souls from Heroic Spirits so none of them are genuine Heroic Spirits
