The Lore of Sir Pentious in Hazbin Hotel

Sir pentious is one of the main cast members in the show, but what is his lore and how did he die?
Sir pentious was a famous inventor and supervillain when he was alive. He died in his 40s in 1888. We don’t know exactly how he died, his appearence has led to the creation of two main theories. The first is that he died due to an invention of his and the second is that he died due to a snake bite.
His name is a mix of the words serpent, pretentious and pentagram.
This describes his personality pretty well. He’s a pretentious victorian era inventor who wants to become one of the pride ring’s overlords through his wacky inventions and army of egg minions.
During the pilot he was an antagonist, and vivzie said he was meant to be a one off villain. However during development this was changed with sir pentious instead being the second patron of the hazbin hotel, after angel dust.
Overall sir pentious looks like a fun character and i can’t wait to see him in the full show.

i found this theory on X about how he died. in the Pilot, there is a scene where he called Angel Dust "son" (even tho Angel not his son) right after Angel Dust said, "harder Daddy". so, the theory said that he son called him "daddy" and he love his son more than anybody and he didn't suspect him for anything. and as we know that most snake are very venomous and venom are similar to poison. basically, he might be died from poison.his minions also looks like eggnog, so he might be poison while drinking eggnog (which explain why he's a snake and his minions are eggs). on the other hand, the theory also said that the one who poison Sir Pentious could be his son and he knew it but he can't accept the fact that his son killed him for all his inventions. in the shows we also sees that Sir Pentious is a type of person who can't trust people easily, because he got betrayed by his own son.

Its great that he is added for comedic parts for how wacky and over the top he is as a failure of a villain but would wish it can still expand to add just a bit more on him becomimg more like maybe a villain that accidentally helps by accident or gets into a wrong situation at the right time. Tbf Adam said "That eould of been ugly" It's just Sir Pentious isn't this amazing Dragon ball Z clash style character we weren't going to see this amazing power struggle where he holds off the big bad guy for him to escape you sacrifice allll of his character and lore for a moment like that and you might as well just create a whole new damn character. Sir Pentious attacks and strategizes around his Machines and engineering that's just who he is as a character, but he's still Leagues below hell even Alastor so it makes sense Adam would just 1 shot him but he at least acknowledged he was indeed an immediate threat with his death ray. Sir pentious "Died" utilizing what he was best at, machinery, intellect, and protecting his friends...... But his matchup was fucking Adam which it had to be for the story to make sense, you don't just have your best mechanic and strategist sit on the sidelines. His death while it maye seem like a joke since he got 1 shot, it makes perfect sense within the overall context of the story.
