I like how Varian has grown as a character and has become more tempered and level headed since Wrath. It's actually cool seeing how all the characters have evolved.

Problem is, I haven't played horde as much so I could be wrong. Thrall was called to the Earthenring where he met Aggra. He came torn between being a warrior and a shaman. He learned the ancient ways, learned to live in the moment, helpt out the aspects and assumed the role as earth aspect. Garrosh is the son of Grom Hellscream who was a friend of thrall. I think thrall made garrosh warchief in the hope of bringing out the Grom side, but instead garrosh went mental.

Hmm I don't think there was an event around it. You can ask the dwarf near Magni what happened, but as far as I remember there was never something ingame that showed the transition to the council.

There was a meeting between elven and tauren druids. Garrosh found out and had them killed. Cairne heard rumors that it was garrosh who orderd it and challenged him to a Mak'gora. Garrosh accepted, but wanted the ancient ways, a duel to the death. Before the battle Magatha Grimtotem offered to bless Garrosh's weapon, but instead she poisoned it. There is debate if Garrosh actually wanted to kill Cairne or that he killed him because of the poison.

There is a lengthy short story that talks about one of the first struggles early on in council's formation. In Wolfheart Varian went through a ritual that the worgen did to control his anger and the beast within. It is true his bad experiences with the Horde have left their mark on him, but in the end he fights because loves his son and his people. Varian is a good king.

What I also want to know is what the heck happened with Gilneas and Sylvanas. At the end of SoO Varian said he wished to cleanse the plague on Gilneas and "contain" Sylvanas and would like to know how that plays out. My main is a Worgen and been fantasizing retaking Gilneas and kicking Slyvanas' ass for a second time, casting her from Gilneas for good.

I guess you might want to check out the Silverpine Forest quests on Horde side. It's basically what happens after the Worgens' starting zone scenario with the aftermath of the Forsaken invasion.

In Lord of the Clans I believe it ends with Thrall getting a message from a scout saying Night Elves have found a crashed ship fill with Dranei including Velen, so I believe the Dranei joined the Alliance in fear that they might be attacked again by Orcs.

You should do it race by race with stuff we know has to come up such as army of light, Maiev, Illidin, Turalyon etc. funny thing is most future hints relate to the alliance more. Clearly a win.

I love your videos of lore and they give me many "aha! so that's why..." moments. I understand that there is limit on video how long to make it, but it would be realyl cool, if you cold slow down a bit and take "strategic breaks" on narration, so people not english by native tongue can understand little better, and the breaks offer a time to process a piece of information. I just wanted to give this suggestion as it was taught us in self-expression classes.

I'd say he used to be, but honestly? At the end of Pandaria, the cutscene where he decides to go against what he stood for, and Jaina. I seriously gained respect for him. I instantly made an Alliance character the next day!

The draenei first learned about the Alliance during the Second War. When the Draenor Expedition chased Ner'zhul to Auchindoun they met an Auchenai named Nemuraan.

On a keyboard with a num pad there is a / with it that is the default keybinding but you can change it in the keybindings section of your in-game menu

I bound mine to the V key. It's between the character and the back-pack so its easy to remember.

Funny thing, mine was completely unbound, I don't ever remember doing this, nor do I ever remember binding any keys in the first place. In fact, the / key was bound to autorun. I switched it to toggle walk/run anyway. Thanks though.

The gnomes always had a king. Gelbin was just in tinker town in Ironforge in game before they moved him to the new zone of new tinkertown in cata.

The thing is... it's never really explained where they came from. Did the titans make them? Did Azeroth produce them? Who knows! I think you can best compare them with the other godly beings of Azeroth like Lo'Gash. I've placed a link in the description. drenai were alies with the alieance during the second war when a part of the alience army entured into draenor to stop ner'zhul . when they crashed into azeroth they joined the alience for 2 reasons: 1 humans were already alies and 2 orcs were their enemies on draenor

The Draenei joined the Alliance partly because they were the first intelligent races they met on Azeroth! Remember Odesyus? And they also found a night elf who had dreams about their race coming to Azeroth! The horde wasn't present at the time, and I guess they just really needed friends, so they joined the first intelligent beings they saw! OR something like that :)

Velens prophecy is yet another tip that the final enemy of wow is some form of old super god. Probably a fusion among each old god, and only a trully pure soul can stand against him and that soul is and anduid followed by true heroes.

***** not true first life existed in azeroth before the titans came like for example trolls , taurens and the insect empires (now in silithus n northrend)pre date the titans creations.The titans came here to defeat the old gods and prison them beneath the earth.The earthen were created to protect those evil beings from escaping.But yogg sauron(the god of death)cursed the earhern with the curse of flesh which created the dwarves,gnomes and vrykul (in northrend u can find those races in their original stone form).It is not clear how but the vrykul one day were ''abandond by their gods'' and the babies born by them since then were ugly and weak.The king of the vrykul ordered those babies to be killed but not all obeyed and those who didnt moved south and growed those children which would be later known as humans.There u have it the origins of the humans.

The one major issue that rung out with me, as a horde player, was possibly just a superficial one being that this is just an overview of the lore. The Draenei were actually peaceful and all but friends with the Orcs until the other half of THEIR race caught up with them. From there the Orcs were corrupted by the Draenei's old brethren. In short, joining the alliance because you were killed off by your old family seems like a poor excuse. The Orcs were little more than a sword in that situation.
