I've always thought that the bees were less affected by the infection than other bugs...Relatively speaking, of course.

Good stuff!! Do you think the bees scavanged, if they found a bench washed from the waterways? (I like to think the decaying wyrm corpse caused an ecological disaster and made things hard for the Hive) I also like to think about the implications of hiveblood and the infection. If the infection makes them aggressive, and yet hiveblood makes them not attack Ghost. The infection also makes bugs follow "nature". I think this may be that the bugs go back to being more separate by species. If they can recognize Ghost as one of their own people, there's no reason to attack. (also wondering as far as the husk hives)

I imagine he didn’t fight it much because the Hive is so remote. With other groups/tribes, however, their land was closer to everything else and he wanted control over it
