the only knock on herbert that is actually true is his struggles with touch. we know for a fact and CAN put more air under passes but will often RIP it down the field which leaves practically no room for error, which is where the inconsistency in some of his deep passes come from

I’m not so sure this take is accurate, his deep ball passes with Mike Williams and Keenan Allen were always on point. His rookie year he had super deep ball accuracy like crazy. I’m not so sure I seen too much of what you say, I’ve watched his every game since he got to the chargers. With some Wr’s and TE they lose focus, you’ll see that in his previous games dropping passes that hit them right in the hands.

Considering for most of this year his receivers were getting no separation at all, yeah, he was zipping the ball around. Keep in mind: he’s only had 3 INTs, too. And he’s shown touch in the past because he had to. He got 5000 yards in year 2 and 4700 in year 3 with 150 more completions in each year, and I don’t think that would possible without touch given the screens and throws to a back in the flat he had to make. He’s about as complete QB as there can be. Let’s hope his receivers continue to do their jobs in the playoffs.

@@jackdavidson7853he’s been missing open wr’s all year, he definitely has had some accuracy issues. I understand there are other things at play, Herbert is amazing, top 5 and I wouldn’t want anyone else to be the QB for my team He’s not above criticism

Herbert has to cut down on overthrowing Wide Open Receivers. He wont get by with that in the P.O.'s That TD to Davis was All the Receivers effort it was an overthrown ball too! As a Group the Chargers Receivers are as good or better than most teams have. they get Open what more can you ask? If your being called Elite you should be able to function with what we have!

Herbert threw that first TD off his back foot. Also he missed on 4 other passes but sill they pulled together. Chargers have scored lots of points before and tanked the following week.
