There's a difference in how much is being differed but regardless I also said in the video that it's fair game by the Dodgers and within the rules

Met fans would have lost their shit if Cohen came in and said "we're building the farm system." Building the farm system is code for rebuilding.

Mets needed to bid an offer that LA couldn't match. They made a bad decision. Cohen gave 43M each to 2 aging 40 year old pitchers (Max and Verlander) last year and think 25 year old 3-time CY and MVP in Pacific league Yamamoto is worth less than that? 400M would have sealed the deal and hard for LA to match.

Mets Central. I am a Yankees fan, but I have no hatred for Mets or Red Sox fans. My 2 brothers are Mets fan. We don't fight about it. About Yamamoto: Yankees offer for Yamamoto was like 300 million for 12 years which was fair. And the Mets offer was 325 million that matched the Dodger offer but the Dodgers had 50 million extra posting bonus. Cannot blame Mets or Yankees here. Why pay a ton of money for pitcher who has NOT pitched in America yet!? The Mets & Yankees BOTH gave Yamamoto a fair money offer. Plus, Yamamoto used them for leverage. Yamamoto was going to play with Ohtani Dodgers anyway! I am moving on! Good channel.

The Mets were never going to get Yamamoto. HOW do you aquire Scherzer and Verlander, then fall flat? The Astros swept them last season, bring it.

I never said they were and I said in the video too I don't blame him for going to the Dodgers

The Mets are still paying for Bobby Bonilla and Bret Saberhagen two guys that I watched in the 80s lmao. But now you have a problem with deferments? Hypocrite.

When ohtani deferred to me that was a no doubt sign yamamoto was a dodger. Why else would ohtani do that to bring in a player who they needed the capX for bottom line.

After Yoshinobu Yamamoto signed with the Dodgers last night, the Mets will look to sign Shota Imanaga to a 7-year contract worth $210 million ($30 million AAV a year), trade Brett Baty, Tylor Megill, and prospects Luisangel Acuna, Ryan Clifford, and Mike Vasil to the Guardians for Shane Bieber and Jose Ramirez, trade Jose Quintana and prospects Kevin Parada, Coin Houck, and Nolan McLean to the Reds for jake Fraley and pitching prospect Chase Petty, and sign Shane to an 11-year contract worth $495 million ($45 million AAV a year), so this is what the Mets starting rotation will look like for the 2024 season: RHP Shane Bieber LHP Shota Imanaga RHP Kodai Senga RHP Adrian Houser RHP Luis Severino
