I just went today for the all access tour in film. I had the best time of my life there. The group was taken to all of these sessions in the video and I volunteered in *all of them* when no one else wanted to. I held the boom mic on the set, did a live rendetion of King Kong in the sound dubbing studio, and acted out a part in the Cinematography and Production Design set! It was a lot of fun and the people in my group knew that I was very enthusiastic about everything (my dad noticed). My dad recorded all of my volunteering parts and I hope to edit and upload them online soon with additional commentary on my experience. Next time I visit the all access tour in March and April, I'll take both the animation and recording arts tours!

I remember this tour 5-6 years ago, when it was a impossible dream for me to attend the recording program (before the over saturated courses, and basic mass firing of 90% of the teachers that where grammy emmy winning tupac engineering kung fu panda sound design legends were fired) I am so glad I knew what I wanted from the school when choosing, Ive had 5 years prior as audio being my job, so I went for specifically to learn from them network, gain a foothold in hollywood, and get time on consoles you can only dream of, now degree done, and very happy with who I get to learn with, meet, be mentored by, work with its awesome. Just had a song with my client and soulja boy released today that I mixed, my first friend whos now my closest is nominated for a MSPE golden reel working in foley. I don't know just one piece of advice for anyone, do your research, but Ill quote the most valuable advice Ive received, from Jack Douglas now I can say friend and amazing guy, "The time you've spent thinking about your dream, you could have devoted to pursuing it, would have came true by now

HighRyse323 I needed to read this. I’ve been thinking about going to this school for about 3 years. On Monday I’m meeting with counselor/advisor to hopefully make it official and attend in the spring.
