Thank you for making this video. I am Japanese who is living in London now, but I was struggled to understand the feeling of how important Queen was for British people. I went to Buckingham palace on Saturday and saw many people visited with flowers or letters, so I knew she was loved by everyone, but still couldn't grasp their true feeling. I think I got something from your video.

I am Japanese, but I sincerely wanted to express my condolence, so visited British Embassy in Tokyo and offered a flower today. It was my first experience in my life to do that for mourning someone's death. What is this huge sense of loss to me even though she'd been a monarch of a foreign country ? I realized again that she was the Queen of tenderness & love, and beloved greatly by people around the world. May her soul rest in peace forever.. 🥺💐🙏

My sinciere condolences to the loss of the Queen. I lost my father when I was 30, and I lost my mother two years ago. Losing someone that you felt like they would be there for you, and immortal, and yet they do pass away. And I learned the "Keep calm and carry on". Thank you.
My deepest condlences. May her rest in peace. We Japanese are also monarchy. We could understand the sense of loss. Let us share the sadness.

In Japan, 35 years ago, when Emperor Showa passed away (death), Japan was in deep sorrow. The people of Japan and the United Kingdom understand and sympathize with each other's feelings, as the long period of monarchy ends and the new period of monarchy begins. As an added bonus... Queen Elizabeth drives her own car! ? … I'm happy to be able to watch cake cutting, humorous remarks, and colorful royal fashion on KZbin over and over again. 》

My deepest condolences. This reminded me of the time Emperor Hirohito passed away because he had reigned for 64 years and we felt the same way in 1989, and he was the only emperor that I knew and the only emperor that my father knew.
I watch BBC world news usually and had the news from that. Like your dad when I was born the Queen had already reigned there. She had been my main image for Britain. The image dissapearing, I feel somehow strange as well as Hirohito passed away. And the TV shows many British people feel the Queen their mom. The emotional connection is so beautiful and moves me. Japanese mentality is "happy in heaven" for the Western's "rest in peace". I pray for Her eternal happiness.

my deepest condolences to the British people. Her passing reminds me of the passing of Emperor Hirohito in 1988. The similarity is striking since Hirohito was in his late 80s and had reigned in Japan for a long time since 1925.

As a Japanese citizen, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
We would like to express our deepest condolences on the passing of Queen Elizabeth. Queen Elizabeth came to her throne in 1952 and five years later I was born. Having the royal family in Japan made me aware of Queen Elizabeth and the British royal family from an early age. Seeing the state funeral, I still feel the end of the era of one world. I say in the media that I am the mother of England, but I think of myself as the mother of the world. You must be in a state of sadness, but I look forward to your continued success in Japan. I have just come across this video. I would not describe myself as an ardent Moncharist but the passing of Queen Elizabeth Ii came as a terrible shock. For over 7 decades, the image of Queen Elizabeth II has been part and parcel of British culture, the Queen is almost in the DNA of most people in the UK. HM, The Queen comes to represent all the various traditions of the British people from the ones from medieval, and Tudor times to those associated with the war, the Empire, and the 1950s. It still seems rather unfamiliar to not have the reassuring figure of HM Queen Elizabeth around anymore. The Queen along with Paddington Bear, James Bond, Doctor Who, the Beatles, Fish & Chips, Strawberries & Cream, Scones, and Jam and Gin & Tonic is one of those iconic British figures and symbols.
God save the queenのqueenがkingに変わる事に驚きました。フレディ・マーキュリー、デヴィッド・ボウイ、そして女王陛下なんだなぁとしみじみ感じております。

It is very sad. I think she was a very great queen. We understand how you feel if the Japanese Emperor were to pass away, especially since the Japanese people have the same imperial system. R.I.P Queen Elizabeth II

Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
My condolences to the British people. During her lifetime, the Queen said something very meaningful in relation to the Japanese imperial family. Japan and England are very similar. She likes gardens in an island country. Cars drive on the left... and only His Majesty the Emperor can understand my troubles.

Japan is with UK.🇯🇵🤝🇬🇧 The Emperor of Japan is also mourning the passing of Queen Elizabeth.

Even I am a Japanese national who lives in London for nearly two decades, I have been feeling as if the late Queen was someone who is familiar not because she was very famous but because she was close to British people. I really understand what you and your father felt on her death. May she reign eternally from above.
I can feel Skye's deep sadness from the video. I guess the Queen was the mother or the grandmother of all people of the UK. I'd like to offer my heartfelt condolences not only to Skye but also to the all people of the UK.
