Without a doubt, Cry of Fear is one of the best survival horror experiences anyone can play. That experience is free without having to purchase at full cost. However, one thing that I imagine is that not too many people know about, is the extensive history of the Lost and Cut Content of Cry of Fear.

Cry Of Fear is the most intriguing survival horror games ever made by a small group of indie developers. They used Half-Life's source engine, and made something very original.

It wasn't a port, it was a remake. Reason of why it got cancelled in the first place, cause to get that level of quality you have to spend a lot of time and effort to match the standard requiered. Andreas simply didn't want to spend years trying to complete a new version of a game he already worked too much time in the past.

I remember there was a cut content showing an unused animation where Simon sits up and finds his arm to be severed and completely gone. Another unused animation is where Doctor Purnell raises his gun at Sick Simon and kills him. I think the first unused animation is possibly something he'd lose his arm to, like maybe one of the spinning blades, or a monster. And the second one could possibly just be a game over screen in the Doctor fight.

i love to hear more about the cut content of Cry of Fear. by the way, if you see the Team Psykskallar's "Videocast", you can see a intro that have multiple fast pasting early CoF content. slow the video and pause them, there you can see a few unused things, alongside with WIPs and some ruMpel's photos joking arround.

Recently i found an animation of syringe. In this animation syringe can use as melee weapon. You can stab or inject the syringe to enemies. But in the game you cant able to do that.

Pretty sure that is just the animation used for using the syringe on one of your co-op partners. It always looked like they just used the folding knife stab attack.

You could have found more information, but you preferred to take only the tip of the iceberg, I think you didn’t explore the folder with models in the final version of the game, what can I say, you even managed to cheat and make your version of the vision of the body armor. The main quibble of the video sequence is the inconsistency of the chronology and inappropriate materials to the topic of the video and the lack of understanding of open information search. Please, if you stick to the chosen topic of the channel, make it much more competent and easy for the viewer to understand. / Keker3

One of the best games out there... A true gem in the horror genre... It made me look behind me for many nights playing it... All alone in a dark room... the constant noises made me paranoid... :D
