Ah, The Shallows. I have that one and is one of my favorite Lenticular's. There was cool Horror Halloween wave that Best Buy did that I picked up and was like 12 or so of some really popular horror movies and were all lenticular covers but what was unique was while the whole cover was a lenti, the main thing that moved and had the flip effect was the eyes. That was maybe 2 years ago during Halloween I think?

I still have a couple of these! Some of them I sold off years ago, but I used to be really into lenticular slips. Not so much anymore, maybe it's because they're not really doing as many anymore, but I always loved how creative they got with the transitions between artwork! I definitely need that Tammy and T-Rex one! I love that movie! Gonna be watching on the channel in Feb as it is one of the greatest love stories of the 90's. Better than Titanic! Hahahaha

I love lenticular covers! I designed one a couple years ago for a 4k Limited Edition of the movie, "Uncle Sam" (released in 1996, I believe). The 4K was released by the company, Blue Underground. The cover art pays homage to the classic "Uncle Sam Wants You!" poster, except when you move the cover, Uncle Sam turns into a zombie! This was a limited edition, so not sure if can be purchased anymore, except maybe from eBay. I want more lenticulars out there! Adds that extra bit of fun and collectibility to the cover art.

Was $25 and I reached out to ask how it would be packed/shipped and He was responded but did not answer my question. I asked again and he still did not but was kind of an A-hole. Then raised the price to $50. Lol. Uh, no.

I'm a fan of lenticular covers. I always remember the VHS cover forJack Frost on the video rental shelf back in the day. I only own a few myself (Anchor Bay "Halloween" VHS, 1978 "Invasion of the Bodysnatchers" DVD, the Blue Underground 3-disc "House by the Cemetery" blu ray, and the "Zombie" and "Dead & Buried" 4K/blu Ray sets). Thought for certain you were going to haul out all the variant covers of that "Zombie" release from Blue Underground. :) Those "RAD" and NOES covers are pretty cool though; shame the NOES one was wasted on such a bad movie.

All the Premium companies do them. And are the most popular ones. Especially a double lenticular. I am referring to companies like Film Arena, Hd Zeta, Manta Lab, Nova Media, WeEt, KimchiDVD, Blufans, Plain Archive. They will do a release and will be 3 (sometimes 4) of same movie and will be a Full Slip, Single Lenticular Slip, and a Double Lenticular Slip. Most of the time with a Steelbook. Some of the nicest ones. Really deep beautiful quality. Super pricey.

Love the lenticular DVD for My Bloody Valentine 3-D. Wish I had the lenticular covers for F13 3 & Texas Chainsaw 3-D because it seems right for 3D movies. I've got the Demon Wind (so cool) and Uncle Sam (my fave) lenticulars. Blue Underground did a cool one for Final Countdown too. Going way back, I have the Ghost Ship lenticular cover snapper case ("Sea Evil") and keep that in the collection just for that.

When I worked at Sam Goody/FYE years ago, we had 2 copies of Jack Frost with the lenticular slip from VS. Back then I didn't know who VS was, but the retail was around $40-$50 so I passed on it. I always regret that.

I had a similar experience with The Ruins, but unfortunately didn't care for it when I bought the DVD. Another one from around that time that also seemed to be ignored was Turistas. I remember being a bigger fan of that one.

All premium companiesthat do steelbook (mantalab,blufans,weet,cinemuseum,filmarena) they do packaging with Lenticular. I know since I collect them. But that transition of jackfrost has to be the one best..
