I liked this one alot, felt like a real sequel to the original film with some returning characters or some getting a mention. The 2nd was abit anticlimactic and lacked story, this one seems like the budget was bigger and they put more room to give fans of the original film a fun sequel and having an adult Edger as the protagonist instead of a side character makes since.

Atleast with this one the backstory of the new vampires is more plausible, given that in the first movie, drinking vampire blood was the way to become one. They never did show what happened to that bottle. Maybe someone found it one day and drank it and became the new head vampire and turned it into drugs. I haven't seen any of the new movies but that'd be my guess
