The entertainment industry can be blamed for all these people who go into it young and innocent. They are put into adult situations and are pushed into doing things they wouldn't normally do by these people. It is sad and a shame that they are not allowed to be just as they were before making it in the business. They are so many who are mentally and physically, spiritually corrupted they will do whatever they got to do to get out the industry. Corey had been on drugs, but he had got off them and was wanting a normal life by the time he got sick with pneumonia. He didn't die from a overdose, it was pneumonia that killed him.

Heroin helps with keeping ya look young. Currently, it turned into Fetty which ages u by decades! I worked in the field and I had woman who was 27, that was a new admit in our detox and she looked like she was in her mid 40s. I used dope when it was still dope, for 17yrs. I got clean in the beginning of that switch from heroin to fetty. Ask any dope addict, Corey has "the look" in his face. If you know, ya know. We have something called "junkie radar" lmfao I swear to God. It's hard to explain to people who aren't addicts.

I've been a fan since the 80's and I read. Everything about his life, everything his Mother has said publicly - watch a documentary, lol. He didn't have any kind of work done as far as his looks go - he didn't have money for that. And drugs DO work that way, usually. He was lucky to look as good as he did - there are many factors that go into how a person is affected long term by drug use, the kind of drugs, dna, etc...he was lucky in regards to his looks. But the drugs ARE the lifestyle, so I really don't know what you think you mean. My oldest adult child has struggled with pill addiction for years before moving on to heroin. I understand what drugs are and how they work and what they do to the body over time. As far as Haim goes - watch any interview/documentary or read any number of interviews - watch and listen to what his friends and family, esp. his Mother, have said. It's all right there. I understand you're young - I am not trying to be rude. It was just such an obviously misguided statement, I had to say something - I don't often bother making comments on KZbin, but this time I had to, obviously. So yeah...I know because everyone who can hear, see, or read knows...it's all there for you to find for yourself...as far as the addiction issues/comments, I know because I have FIRSTHAND personal experience with what drugs do to the people we love the most - our children. Have a good day.
@jmp01a24
@jmp01a24 8 жыл бұрын
MaryKat Hull How shallow that you judge me from an avatar slash old photo. I can divulge that I have had over 30 friends who died from drugs and I have my own experience. It's the lifestyle that do you in, because that it's for too long been illegal to buy and use drugs. Even those who get help from addiction like with methadone or the like suffers because they are poor. Surely you can not compare Haim to other drug addicts. He could score drugs because of his fame, get money like no other drug users can because he was a star at one point, short you can not compare his drug use to the average drug user. He did not have to live on the street, steal and deal. If he did he would have been a different case because of his stardom. You have to see that don't you?

Makes you wonder if Feldman had anything to do with it! He was so jealous of Haim from the beginning because he was getting all the role's over Him! Feldman only befriended Haim to set him up for the most worst type of crimes to minors to get back at him out of that jealousy which helped lead him down the self destructive path he was on, and then feldman since has twisted all of his stories and has flat out made up lies to profit off of Haims demise! Its like as soon as Haim got sober and all these big movies rolls were again rolling in, like crank and crank 2 (again more popular over feldman)and those that did what they did were becoming afraid that now that corey was sober people would finally start to believe him and none of them wanted that to happen! This is just my opinion...but if you've watched all the documentaries before and after haims death from Feldman you'd understand where I'm coming from! Hes just one Sick pos

Pedos should not be in jail for what they do, 3 meals and a bed is not my idea of punishment as they all group together inside. @@leejohnson197733 I get the impression that his life has been threatened for years. I personally would prefer him to have told law enforcement right away. But let's think about all the women who came forward years after Harvey Weinstein raped them. Maybe they were scared, maybe they thought no one would believe them? Maybe they dont have a platform to get the word out. As it seems social media does more damage than law enforcement does? I also agree jail isn't enough. . ALONG with your namesake, Corey, you touched so many of our lives. Everything that was good and right about growing up in the 80's as a kid--palling around with your friends, chasing girls, hanging out at the mall, partying at a someone's house, standing up to the bully and winning the heart of your lady love--you conveyed to us with your work. Your more notable roles in such movies as First Born, Silver Bullet, Lucas, The Lost Boys, and License to Drive helped to inspire us to live and celebrate life a lot more. I'm sure I speak for everyone who thumbs up my post when I say, thank you so much for that. Rest in peace, buddy, and know that although you're gone, you'll never be forgotten by us fans.

Once when he was having serious financial problems he spent all day signing autographs at a mall for extra cash, then even though he was broke at the time he spent it all immediately after by going down to a nearby dog pound/kennel and buying every single dog there a toy and milk bones. He was a good guy who died too young. Too bad so many shady people abused and manipulated him. His very first movie experience was awful for him on the set of Firstborn (1984) when actor Peter Weller threw him against a wall and yelled at him. After their first scene together Haim at the end of the take innocently complimented Weller on how he thought how well he performed the scene and Weller for some reason went psychotic on him and yelled at him not to speak to him at the end of a scene and interrupt his concentration.

He was trying to get clean and nothing was found in his system when he died. He will be truly missed I am so sorry all these things happened to him and he had to live such a hard life. No fuckhead a kid who is born in Somalia, has a hard life to look forward to, a child born in Darfur, well, they may as well just fucking kill themselves, because odds are they are already statistically dead. Kids born in the USA, have easy lives in comparison even if they are dirt poor. SO get your head out of your ass and get some perspective. Corey Haim had it all given to him on a silver platter and HE pissed all over it, HE DID THIS nobody did it for him, HE fucked his career, HE did the drugs, HE did the bisexual hangers on thing and after that crashed, he then cried child rape 'industry rape'(loooooooool) when he thought it would net him some cash, but it didnt.
