I could imagine that some of the jokes don't sit right with at least Brandon, but the storytelling is one of the most masterful I have ever experienced and it would definitely be interesting to hear what they have to say about it. Especially since it has a very interesting way of handling the multiverse problems that Brandon mentioned in a previous video (when talking about the Loki) show.

The Jurassic World films are also this for me. Big dumb fun!!! 😁

Jackie Chan was the epitome of action/whimsy for me growing up. The over the top fight scenes have always been fun. I think that’s why I liked Pirates of the Caribbean as a kid before realizing how tight the writing was when I got older. At least for the first movie.

The first movie understood that pirates are murdering r*pst thieves who deserve to die, but we can like Johnny Depp and dislike crooked politicians and be grateful for the semi-honorable middle man. All viewed through the lens of two innocents falling in love. The following movies lacked nuance.
